That's exactly what I do! :D

I couldn't possibly vote without rating the songs as I listen to them, to be honest I often have completely forgotten some of the songs by the time I've finished listening but I remember my general reaction to them so can slot songs in the relevant place in the rankings based on that. If I didn't have it written down that would be a lot harder to do and my votes would probably be less accurate.

 

A solution to that would be listening to the songs more I guess but who has time for that! I go back and listen more to the songs that I really liked but I generally won't bother going back to anything I rated less than 8 or so on first listen (unless that first listen was in the semi of course, I always re-listen to everything from my semi in the final even if I hated it in the semi, sometimes songs will click a lot more in that final listen, most notable example I can think of being 'C O O L' which went up from just decent to being my 10 pointer).

I just go on multiple listens. First run through I get rid of all the songs that immediately make me go UUURGH!

 

If I listen to a song all the way through then it noves into the phase where I start ranking them. Don't ever award them points though.

Although that is how I do my personal chart so maybe I should do that for BJSC.

^ I'm the same. I just keep on listening, eliminating and shifting the order round until I have my definitive order.

 

Also delay please (or don't and I'll just be one of the last to confirm as weird as that would feel!).
