Interesting race indeed the Gold Cup:

At 6:39, what caused Bobs Worth and Silviniaco Conti to suddenly move?

The connections of On His Own may appeal against the Gold Cup decision. Interesting indeed.

Who will you be backing this year?

Had a look at the racecard earlier today, not sure who I'll be backing this year yet. Could be tempted by teaforthree, although backed it last year.. will probably be too short of a price for me to put any small money it.

Who will you be backing?

really looking forward to this :D Going to look through form guides tomorrow and make a choice. Always like to watch it in the bookies but for convenience might watch it at home this time...

Do you place your bets online or in the bookies? Im assuming online is more competitive?

I've always placed my bets at the bookies.

But most bookies may pay out for the first four except for Paddy Power who pay out for the first five.

BetVictor pay out for the first six

For anyone looking at each/way value.

I'm going for Teaforthree, Monbeg Dude and Rose Of The Moon at interesting odds at 50/1.

If you are backing an outsider. Take the price when you put it on.

I've gone for Double Seven, Prince De Beauchene, The Rainbow Hunter, Pineua De Rea and Alvarado all e/w
Put £10 EW on Balthazar King @ 16/1 and £5 to win on Buckers Bridge @ 66/1.
If anyone's wanting to use any online services - I recommend Bet365. They're refunding your each way stake for every each way bet you place!

He's now @ 14/1 Balthazar King, Good thing you took the price.

I always put my bet on the nose!! Prefer the fun of it but has lost me some second place finishes over the time..

Time to place my own bets :D

He's now @ 14/1 Balthazar King, Good thing you took the price.

Everything has drifted again. Guess most of the punters place their bets before Saturday, and then between now and then it's just people having bets for the fun of it. Really don't think Balthazar King will win it. It's a smart bet, but don't think it will win.

backed Prince De Beauchene, Big Shu and Lion Na Bearnai e/w, along with a £2 win on Teaforthree, good luck everyone!

...well, The Package finished for me, but that's all. Seems like a lot of you got something with Balthazar King, and Rooney with the winner, congrats!

well done to any who had Balthazar King on an e/w! not much luck for me this year but still~ I guess getting the 3rd and 5th last year wasn't gonna be easy to match
