No, it seems the whole world (except the US and Canada) is waiting for the release. Radio stations keep telling that we can buy the song now - but i guess the local record companies just did not give them any proper information too, so we can just sit and wait.

 

 

This will struggle to make top 3.

Considering her publicity and Fame in 2010/2011 the fact her album isn't even number 1 on US iTunes is terrible too.

That's probably legit because 'Rush release' songs usually get released around 2/3pm.

tbh GaGa couldn't care less.

Was expecting so much more from this song. TBH I dont think its going to smash the charts like everyone thinks it will. The Gaga hype is over, yes she has her loyal monsters but does she appeal to the wider public like she did in the Fame era? I think not. General music buyers are fed up with her publicity stunts, its no longer just about the music. This whole leak thing was obviously planed promo as well and a dig at Katy Perry. Its all a bit fast in my opinion!

I HIGHLY doubt this leak was all part of a planned promo because if you think of it this way, it's only hurt her by pushing the release of "Applause" forward instead of going with the initial plans.

 

No matter what Gaga does nowadays, it's all seen as part of a stunt anyways. -_-

Katys effort is alot better than GaGas...and even that's pretty shite substandard pop.

Lets hope Ellie makes it to number 1 ;)
