The song that had Kelly from Misfits in it's music video (i forgot what it's called) was the most surprising of all. It was around the same time as Nasty Girl by Notorious B.I.G and Hustla's Ambition by 50 Cent.

Disco Inferno by 50 Cent is one song I heard all the time, but then I found out it charted very low.

Arctic Monkeys have held up very well really.... getting two decent-selling #1 albums is pretty good for a band in the pop domination years of 2009-11. It's amazing to think that in 2006, they were being outsold by Snow Patrol and the Kooks, yet in the long run they've held up much better.

Yeah, they've done very well. At least for Snow Patrol they have Chasing Cars selling 100,000+ every year.

Snow Patrol can still sell albums, their last album easily went platinum so in that regards they have held up just as well as the arctic monkeys but i understand the point you are making.

Really want Ellie Goulding to get her first number 1, i love Burn.

The Wanted ' We Own The Night ' is already in light red on kworb, seems like they've stalled at #05 and Arctic Monkeys are increasing quite fast, I'm not sure how ' We Own The Night ' will do, I think it might only spend one week top 10 now.

Remember its OA/OS, the videos premieres today and same with radio plays - its only getting started too!

Really hope Ray Foxx and Baby Blue climb into the top 40 officially, if they do its looking like a good week for new releases!

Doesn't look like Baby Blue will. It's a strange song, it's quite catchy but does anyone find the chorus REALLY slowed down? It sounds like it should be sung at twice the tempo!

Nice to see Ellie on course to getting her first #1, let's hope we have another run of decent #1s now.

Is Lady Gaga still releasing her single next week, it seems all quiet in her camp.

 13. Drake - Hold On, We're Going Home (feat. Majid Jordan)

 45. Katy Perry - Roar

It is coming then (or sooner if it continues to leak). Probably won't be quiet for long!

Pre-orders in the single chart

 44 Roar - Katy Perry

 64 Sonnentanz (Sun Don't Shine) - Klangkarussel ft. Will Heard

 173 Talk Dirty - Jason Derülo ft. 2Chainz :cheer:

Kings of Leon seem to be holding up, suppose Suppersoaker did too for 5 days or so!!
Didn't realise Artic Monkeys had a physical - Could push them ahead of The Wanted? The single is being sold for 99p in HMV and if you buy it you get £1 off the new album if you pre-order it.
Seriously? Didnt think the physical would have been out so quickly, might have to purchase it!!

I haven't heard the new Monkeys track but if it can stop The Wanted from going top 5 that would be a :D moment!

Didn't realise that myself, should give the track a good push up the chart.

Do I Wanna Know? is also available as a physical from Amazon :D

I really hope they can hold on to the top 10 this week, its a great track and they deserve another top 10 given they haven't done so since 2007 so fingers crossed they do it!

Great to see Ray Foxx top 20 and Ellie still number one its going to be a great chart on Sunday!

1 Ellie Goulding - Burn 1.0000

2 Avicii - Wake Me Up 0.6256

Ellie has a big enough lead to be #1 officially this week!

Yap with 2 days of sales over 30-40% lead it's enough... he will catch in the weekend anyway but she will win with a 30K lead like this week.

I'm not so sure if her sales will fall into the 6 figure bracket, been Avicii sold nearly 92k, last week.

Yea Ellie should be no1 on 90-100k and Avicci at 2 with 80k i would say. Lana and Miley will fight it out for the top 3!!

Gwon Arctics! Good to see Ray Foxx suddenly smashing as well after seeming to stall in the low top 40 before, should be a safe top 20 now. More than you'd expect looking at both artists' chart histories (each has had a single week in the top 100 before, Ray at #65 with 'La Musica (The Trumpeter)' and Rachel at #79 with 'Hard Road To Travel') :P

 79. Addicted To Pain - Alter Bridge

Metal bands seem to have a habit of making their song/album titles make it very obvious that they're a metal band...

The album version of 'Summertime Sadness' is at #67 and another version of the remix (6:52 version) is at #89, from the 'Ibiza Sessions 2013' Ministry of Sound compilation.
