I still can't believe how it's that many years ago now :o

I was just in shock when I saw it come up on wwe.com

I only took notice of him when he was with Chavo in Los Guerrero's.

His match with Rey at Summer Slam 2005 still remains the best match I think I've seen from him.

He only turned face again about a month prior so I was gutted about this and it's a shame how he was supposed to win the world title at Survivor Series too :(

His tribute video which had here without you in it just made me cry buckets.

Didn't like the way Rey suddenly became this main eventer through it all but that's WWE.

One of the best of all time. He never had a boring match. :(
I read that he was booked to beat Batista and Randy Orton in a triple threat match for the world heavyweight championship on November 13th 2005 - the day he died.

exactly which is what made it more sad :( I kinda liked Batista that year but felt he should've dropped it to Eddie at the last PPV Eddie competed in.

I was in shock as well, i couldn't sleep that night. It was the same when Chris Benoit died as well.

My heart froze when i saw a picture of Eddie with a black background and the words "Eddie Gurrero 1967-2005" written on the screen.

Lets not compare Eddie's passing to Benoit though. Completely different story ;)

WWE Updates

The Miz turned heel.

Xavier Wood debuted on Raw last night.

Maddox was slammed into a match with Orton

Mysterio returned at the end of RAW.

And finally Big E won the Intercontinental Championship from Axel.

All in all sounds like a decent RAW once again.

I've just read that she's teaming with AJ, Tamina and Alicia (also Aksana & Rosa to face the Bellas, funcydatals & Natayla so one would assume she's turned heel or is just being a tweener :P

They are just doing that match to promote their stupid diva reality show. One team consists of the divas that are on the show and the other team consists of the rest of the roster. I doubt they put any more thought into that.

And Rey is back. :D

Not usually a fan of the bigger guys and I always end up puzzled as to why they get pushes (Ryback being the most recent case - VOMIT). But I am totaly on board for a Reigns & Langstons rumoured major pushes! Both superb and have a lot of potential!

Fully agreed.

Harper belongs in that group as well if you count him as big guy, IMO.

Just watching Survivor Series now, What a performance by Roman Reigns! He's gonna be the main man of the shield for sure now.

LMAO at bald Mark Henry hahahahahahahaha, he looks even more like Rick Ross now

Looking forward to Reigns' push SO MUCH. I've been saying this for a while now but I genuinely thought Bryan was the safe bet to win the Rumble and have his Wrestlemania "moment", hence why he's not had the championship (properly) just yet. But I can definitely see Reigns putting in a dominating performance in the Rumble (maybe breaking Kane's record of 11 superstars eliminated in a single rumble, with a chance of winning!).

Randy Orton and John Cena staring each other down and holding up their world titles at the end of Survivor Series. Return of the undisputed championship? I certainly hope so, it would be like the good old days of the attitude era when there was only 1 WWE champion.

There was a really funny botch during Randy Orton vs Big Show where Orton had Big Show on the top turnbuckle for the DDT but then because Big Show is so large he slumped down to the mat where Randy did the DDT instead
