The only things worth mentioning:

- Corporate Kane wrestling (Kane in smart clothes as opposed to his usual attire

- Roman Reigns (dominating and beating Kane's record of 11 eliminations in a single rumble, by eliminating 12 - and very nearly winning!)

- Kevin Nash entered (even though it was done before, it was still nice to see him back!)

- CM Punk lasting as long as he did (Entered 1st and got all the way to the final four/five I think)

That's about it tbh. Bray vs. Daniel Bryan was fantastic though! One of the strongest PPV openers, I've witnessed in a while I think.

Oh and Rob, I'm really not surprised at the Bryan vs. Sheamus rumour, considering they've feuded in the past and we love how original WWE like to be! I heard a rumour (might have been from you) but Dean Ambrose & Seth Rollins vs. Roman Reigns & Undertaker is being thrown around for Wrestlemania! *.* (Sounds too good to be true tbh)

who actually won the rumble match?

1 of the most important peaces of inmformation!

thanks for the rundown though

apreciated

Oh, I thought it was mentioned in the thread already aha. But Boretista won. :(
The only good thing to come out of Brock Lesnar's confrontation with The Big Show was when he smacked The Big Show in the bum with a steel chair

CM Punk has walked out of the WWE :(

Me and Jon and others on facebook are still debating whether this is a work for WWE's #YESMOVEMENT or just Punk going off on injury or even that's it's indeed legitimate and that Punk has gotten fed up with the company. His contract was about to expire in July anyway (don't know if he was going to sign a new one or not).

Sucks though from what we can grasp so far and WWE have themselves to blame for losing such an awesome wrestler.

No one wants to see Orton V Batista for trillionth time. It's not 2005 anymore. Get your head out of the past and move into todays climate PRETTY PLEASE!!!

It's not a matter of we want him to leave. The guy has expressed his frustration at the lack of younger talents not been given any sort of push when the likes of Orton, Cena and Batista who hasn't been in the WWE in nearly 4 years get given everything handed to them on a plate.

Punk has been very vocal about part time wrestlers such as Rock and Lesnar getting the Wrestlemania spots over talents like Ziggler, Miz, Ceraso etc.

It's a bit of an drastic move on Punk's part but seriously who can blame him with the rate the WWE's creative is going.

I for one hope he comes back at somepoint like most of us but I think the chances of that happening appear to be very slim right now.

C.M Punk is actually my second favourite wrestler behind Daniel Bryan.

I've started to get into WWE again because of Bryan and I'm already wishing I never got so involved.

He's one of current faves too. GTS has to be one of the best wrestling manuevers in the history of wrestling.

Take a look at this one for example ^_^

OUCH!!

Rumour has it that the creator (who's Japanese I think) of that move and Daniel Bryan's running knee move has had a try out for WWE over the last few days! Lets hope he's half as consistent and exciting as both Punk and Daniel are!

R.I.P Primetime Players

Eura Eura Eura!

It seems that just as they start Improving the tag team division they are then closing it down again.

The real Americans are next as we are seeing signs from it this past week. Although I don't particularly care if it's to help Antonio Cesaro get a massive push.

I've been really impressed by him the last couple of months.

The Shield will most likely break up either at Elimination Chamber or the following night on Raw after they face the Wyatt Family at the PPV.

With a triple threat match at wrestlemania. Repeating what the legacy did 4 years back.

And of course it could only be Roman Reigns who wins that match.

If Daniel Bryan doesn't get his rightful push now he should walk out too, leave them right in it!

Agreed. Although I think I'd stop watching (for a while at least) if there was no Punk or Bryan and just the same old Cena/Orton/Batista push.

Also a rumoured match up at WM is Roman & Taker vs. Ambrose & Rollins, but that sounds far too good to be true! :( But I'll settle for a predictable triple threat match between them three too. I do hope their match against the Wyatts is inside an Elimination Chamber! That'd be pretty epic.

Watched the Royal Rumble at the weekend (been on holiday for the last three weeks). Definitely not a classic and the worst ending to a Rumble I've ever seen. If they were going to let Roman Reigns set a new record (and he looked good, BTW) then he should have won it too. There weren't enough surprise entrants either and JBL was surely covering for an entrant who couldn't make it as he might as well have not bothered.

Next year I hope they don't stick main eventers in at 1 & 2 and have them going through the whole match - I'm sick of seeing the same people there all the way through. Also, they need to sort out the fact that as soon as the cameraman starts to follow a wrestler you KNOW they're about to get chucked out. Yes, there's a script, but it's so damn obvious.

Anyway, still the only event I watch every year - and here's hoping 2015's might be a return to old form.
