You see, when we first tallied up the public vote, Elëdan's entry, 'Roo' by Shadeux, came out top as it did in the semi-final. However, on close examination of voting pop bars, we discovered that the song beat the second most popular song by a factor of 100,000,000 votes to 1 - an unexpected scenario considering Persephonia's population is only around 12,000,000. As such we have been forced to disqualify 'Roo' from our final votes as there is evidence of robots being used to multivote for the track which is against our local BuzzJack Song Contest rules. We wish the best for 'Roo', but here are our revised final votes, starting as ever with the 1 through to 7: 1 Isconia // Chinawoman - Kiss In Taksim Square 2 Kathaldazia // LCNVL and Lakota Silva - Closer 3 Florina // of Verona - Dark In My Imagination 4 Hendinia // Cyril Hahn feat. It was a very closely run battle for the 12, a fight between a more predictable nation and a much less predictable one, but ultimately Persephonian predictability wins out and BELLAMIA take our 10 points with the club anthem 'Something About You' by tyDi feat. Kerli. It would have taken our 12 in most other contests but sadly was just beaten. And so we can finally consummate the #synphonia relationship with a 12, our first awarded to SYNDARE (I think), with the absolutely incredible 'Take Me Home' by Belanger. If the pre-final odds are to be believed it's quite possible that this maximum score constitutes a major act of foot-shooting from us - but when our competition is this good, does it even really matter?
