As a big fan of football I believe that football have an unique opportunity to unite people and give them a right amount of relaxion.

Also I think it's a bad decision to have WC in winter. It's summer event always been and allways will be.

I will never forget WC18 experience - it was one of the best summer moments for my country and I was SOOOO exciting that Rob took his part at the Opening Ceremony! What a surpise it was..!!

Anyway, I will support Mexico, Argentina, Cameroon, Serbia, Wales and Uruguay during forthcoming tournament :)

I agree..

Cameroon  , always the lucky outsiders ...

How would you consider the public opinion about the world championship in Qatar in your countries ladies and gents? In the Netherlands it is 60/40 pro watching I would estimate

I can't help but think that it's a mistake to perform in countries like Qatar - Rod Stewart has publicly come out this week to announce that he turned down £1m to perform there and I think he's right. That's my opinion but the fact is it's there and I shall enjoy watching England as always and rooting for them.

I think that it is difficult with the teams go there and the artists being condemned.

Beyonce performed in Saudi arabia ad Justin Bieber despite the Kashoggi situation. And I can remember countless names with artists who always are 'political correct'

How many of those who are now jumping on the Qatar waggon really know? What are they speaking off? Gay and alternative rights? The payment for the hired foreigners?

Many have not even a real idea when you ask questions.

And, maybe the fact that the championship is there may change something step by step.

I agree with Alex though that a championship in winter is a very different feeling

This sounds really exciting !

This is the kind of article that I was talking about when I referred to the press & how they 'quote Robbie Williams fans' , this time it's the StokeonTrentLive

I still don't get that the tournament is held, every team is there and the musicians who will perform are condemned. So many games take place in countries which are violating human rights not only soccer and no one says anything about it.

I agree with Rob that the FIFA should not have given the tournament there. On the other side with the tourists maybe also changes take place.

I totally agree . FIFA itself has always been known for a long long time as being rotten to the core but still countries participate including my own country . Why do they agree to go there in the first place ... there has been talk already that Saudia Arabia are bidding for the 2030 WC
