This is FANTASTIC. (Well the remix is). I can bear this remix as there's really not much to it and it isn't one of those ridiculous 6 minute remixes that is nothing but noise. So pumped for the official edit!

reading through the remix trying to find the orignal song, seems promising.. alex has done it again - hope it all goes well for her because she is a true talent ! Can't wait for the video, i predict she will be sexy and saucy as per usual, with some killer dance routine, what a woman !

There's potential for this to be decent. Having listened to the remix I have a gut feeling the original is going to have the formulae similar to 'We Found Love' (probably with less lyrics?). Then again the original might sound completely different.

 

If 'Start Without You' could get the Burke a UK #1 then 'Elephant' could easily do as well, especially if they decide to release the remixes as seperate tracks too.

It sounds amazing :o I imagine to be a cross between We Found Love and All Fired Up actually, I'm SO excited for the single version now!

I really hope this era will be Alex's Stripped or M!ssundaztood. I.e. a more personal artistically-experimental album becoming more of a critical and commercial success than her debut.

 

'Elephant' sounds really promising and seems far away from the cheese that was 'Bad Boys' and 'Start Without You'.

It is rumoured the remix only uses lyrics from the pre-chorus and chorus.

The remix has grown on me massively, I keep replaying it tbh. :lol: Yep, it's typical Morillo, but still. I still hope for something less generic and more original in the main version. Some innovative productions... but I doubt it.

Completely agree. It still sounds so fresh, even now! It's definitely one of the finest pop songs I've heard in a while.

I am loving the Elephant remix at the moment, can't stop playing it. I hope the studio version has much more actual singing on it though!

Just the fact that the song was called 'Bad Boys' gives it some cheese at least imo. Musically, I wouldn't say it was cheesy but lyrically, I would.

It probably will be similar to We Found Love, so could that be why the delayed the release for a few weeks, waiting for We Found Love's popularity to die down a bit?
