They tried to cram way too much into the pilot episode, but I really liked it.

The pilots for Buffy & Angel also were a bit naff, but the former grew to become my favourite show ever so go figure.

just seen it. great cast (including Angel & firefly faves), great dialogue, good acting, great plot, great characters fleshed out with minimum dialogue. Of course it's a Joss Whedon creation! No-one else can do all that so well.

PS I'm biased.

The November 19th episode is going to be a somewhat continuation of the new Thor film. I mean I get why they are doing it, trying to bring people from the new film into the TV series and cross-pollinate audiences but I can't help but think this is just going to serve as adding more ammunition to the 'it's a crap version of the movie' brigade and actually HURT more than it'll HELP. Obviously none of the movie cast will be in the show. It's being directed by Jonathan Frakes though so I have high hopes for it (he's generally been very good at directing genre TV).

still loving the character development of the series, fleshing them all out week by week, as is only right. I hope the series catches on as Ive heard "oh it's a bit dull" comments from misguided friends!
I haven't seen the latest episode yet, but the show is finally starting to improve. It's taken a while for the characters to feel more developed, as opposed to just vehicles for dodgy-dialogue. If Whedon was more involved with this show it would be much better. But the man can't be everywhere.

Jaimie Alexander (Lady Sif in Thor) is going to guest in Episode 15. Bill Paxton has also been cast in a four episode run later in the season as well, playing Agent John Garrett (whomever that may be).

LOVED the most recent episode, in fact the last 3/4 have all been amazing, so glad it's finally found it's footing again. I forgot that the US aren't getting Winter Soldier until this week so it makes sense to push the BIG EVENTS off into the next few episodes, but it did make it all a bit odd watching them going about stuff knowing what's going to happen.

OMG YES

That was so much better than I had envisaged, the cliffhanger with

Ward being Hydra too

was perhaps a little more obvious than the writers might have liked (I mean once I saw him

GLARE at Triplett

it was kind of obvious something was up). The action was brilliant though, nearly as good as the movies and on a shoestring budget too. Plus the show now has major direction and mileage to be gained from all this and also it gives the relationships new meaning and depth too.

Sad to see Hand go though as she was one of the best characters on the show!

Looking forward to seeing it tonight! Really enjoying this show. Just watched last weeks episode and it was so tense!

Nick Fury in the last episode.

And the second series might end up as a movie. Just be reading up on it in the Sci-Fi mag if the series does not get picked up.

Did it not get a second season within the first few weeks? Or am I imagining it?

Anyway, brilliant episode! I found it ridiculously tense. It got confusing at some points but I knew that'd would be the result, pretty much at the point you said it was completely obvious. I don't like that though and don't agree with it (as much as I enjoyed the episode). It all felt a bit "we need a major twist, so let's do this to keep our viewers interested" and felt quite random. I'd much rather have had

Hand be a part of Hydra instead of Ward and now that she had the team "back on her side" she could lead them to the dangers of next week or whatever.

But apart from that, loved it.

Looking forward to seeing Maria Hill again  as well as seeing how it ties into 'Avengers 2'! (Which is what's doing the social network rounds!)

I think you're thinking of The Blacklist.

Ok, the way they've handled

Ward being a part of Hydra

, has been brilliant. It makes perfect sense for them to go down this route now. Everything's falling into place wonderfully now and I do believe and have every bit of confidence that the last 2 episodes are going to deliver! I hope we see some more Cobie though.

The last 2 episodes were so, so good! The way

Skye found out about Ward to making the other team aware of the Ward, turn. Was very nicely done!

and then obviously the conclusion (so far) has been great too!

the last 2 episodes have been fab, full of the keynote Whedon plot twists and character drama. Loving it.....
May looks barely a day over............30

AMAZING

I had to google - 50!! No way....! She's a new role model for us of a similar age, I just decided...
