October 24, 201411 yr I love this series, despite pretty much everyone I know not liking it. Mad mad mad. A great season opener, lots of instant mysteries and ongoing plots, character developments, and always with Whedon shows, things aren't necessarily like they appear to be. Poor Fitz.... Oh yes it had Xena Warrior Princess too.
September 28, 201510 yr I've (finally) completed Season 2 in anticipation of season 3. I lost track after the long break, just got annoyed with the constant breaks and the first half the season wasn't gripping me as much. However, the last half of the season... PHENOMENAL. Seriously brilliant stuff. Skye is one of my favourite Marvel characters in the whole MU now! She kicks ASS! I am SO glad I have caught up now after the way it ended though. Not long to go until I find out what happens now haha. LOVED the tie-in with 'Age Of Ultron' and that Coulson was responsible for the hellicarrier *.* Also loved the mini original SHIELD reunion too :wub: EXCITED FOR SEASON 3 IS AN UNDERSTATEMENT!

February 1, 20169 yr a few episodes in on season 3 and it's really fast-paced and plot-packed. Really good.
February 1, 20169 yr S3.0 didn't excite me QUITE as much as most of S2, but it's definitely found it's level now (faintly ridiculous, lots of plot being eaten up every episode) and is working so well. Sadly Marvel's Most Wanted is likely to steal Bobbi and Hunter from S4, which is a shame as they have pretty much the best chemistry on the show outside of May and Coulson.
March 7, 20169 yr The series is really peaking now, terrific stuff, don't get why it's so under-rated, the characters, cast, writing and plotting are all top notch. I was very unhappy that the best new character has just been killed off! Now we are on the other side of the universe :o
March 16, 20169 yr It's a good thing this has been renewed already because it's just hit a new series low with each of the episodes in S3.5, a 1.1 and now a 1.0. S4 will almost certainly be the last at this point, which is a shame because it's actually come such a long way and Bobbi, Hunter and May are all so enjoyable to watch.

April 7, 20187 yr Yes it's still got the goods for me - though the new future setting is a departure. My fave drama series on TV over the last few years, bar Game Of Thrones - though The Orville (I just heard about it and love the trailers) looks like great fun (rather than drama). Ming Na Wen is an amazing 54 now, and the show has 2 Asian heritage female actors (Chloe Bennett nee Wang) and a Latino female actor (Natalia Cordova-Buckley) as leads with a Brit female actor (Elizabeth Henstridge) making up t'other. Great to see some decent minority female representation on a sci-fi action drama series.

May 14, 20187 yr Somehow it has been renewed for a 13 episode sixth season! Despite its absymal ratings and the fact the show’s writers have apparently wrote the end of this season as though its the end of the series, even going so far as calling the season finale ‘The End’! Of course the name brand is there, and part of me thinks its to create a proper series finale to stop fan outcry. Plus the fact it will tie into Infitnity War: Part II aka the culmination of the MCU so far. PLUS, you have Coulson appearing in Captain Marvel. Still its ratings really are terrible!
May 14, 20187 yr That's the true benefit of the production company and the network both being owned by the same parent! I guess they can sustain the shite ratings because the rest of the Marvel unit makes bank.
May 14, 20187 yr I am so happy it is coming back, this is one of my favourite shows! It's a shame it is only 13 episodes but I guess that stops it clashing with the Avengers 4 release
