It just sounds like a cheesy boyband song which is something they always said they didn't want to be.

But they released 'Heart Vacancy' as their second single.

I actually think it's pretty good. I don't think it's gonna do much at all but this is now four singles out of five I like from this album (not sure I ever heard I Found You oops), despite liking nothing prior to Chasing The Sun.

Their album better have 15 tracks minimum otherwise i dont see how they are gunna sell it if they put less then that then it is like we have already heard half/most of the album...I get a feeling their management hates them  TBH if this single dosnt do well, and the album which i cant see it doing I can see them splitting soon. Nathan is already set thanks to Ariana Grande and the Mortal Instruments.

Quite possibly the final nail in their coffin.

Sadly I think you're right...this may give them another top 10 but I would be surprised if they don't get one more chance to release more music but I think it could be the start of the end for the band, I guess this is what happens when you upset the 1D fans!!

I do agree The Wanted are better, but ever since they released 'I Found You' they've pretty much completely lost the plot (except 'We Own The Night' which is good). At least 'Kiss You' and 'Best Song Ever' are catchy pop songs.

I agree that some of their recent songs haven't been quite as good but I don't like anything about 1D. Don't like any of their songs and don't understand the massive hype that follows them.

Maybe a bit desperate, but considering that 'We Own The Night' is experiencing a new lease of life at the moment, I don't begrudge them (or is it just Tom?) for trying to keep it going!

Its chart run of 10-21-32-43-51 is pretty disappointing, so for it to be back up to #17 on iTunes is quite pleasing.

Their release strategy has seemed a bit strange. I hope "show me love" gets a physical release, like their other recent singles.

Lucky you. One of their worst singles to date.

This is dominating on airplay! I'm glad, this is far superior to We Own The Night for me. It should easily outpeak that generic mess.

Yeah its much better song but not sure if it will hang around. Any news on a physical release?

Ooh, I really like this song on first listen.

It's not "original" but at least it's not "try hard" like some of their recent singles. I'm glad Nathan can shine through this song, he is great and far better than the overrated Max and Tom.

Capital KEEP playing this song. It's also been added to the Radio 2 playlist as well as Heart Radio. And it has ended up as number 8 in the airplay charts, somehow?! It's a terrible song, and after the performance of We Own the Night (which I suppose wasn't THAT bad in the end - but still pretty bad) I really thought they were done. But I can actually see this going top 8 now.

Available to pre-order now - released on 27th October. Here is their rather srs~ looking artwork:

Judging by it being #7 on airplay, two weeks in advance of release, could this be a massive hit for them? :o

It's a shame that 'We Own The Night' did very little for them. I don't think that single has even sold 85,000 yet, which makes it one of their worst sellers (perhaps the worst, although I'm not sure whether it's outsold 'Warzone' or not). Their previous single 'Walks Like Rihanna' sold around 190,000.

Jeeze, they aren't looking too great on this single cover. I predict a hit, too. It's a very boring song though. I'm in the minority that liked I Found You.

Surprised Walks Like Rihanna is almost silver. No R1 backing at all! I think this will be the first single Radio 1 will playlist by them since We Found Love.
