6 new entries currently in the Top 10 albums, hopefully this is a sign that album sales will be on the up! Big falls from Rizzle Kicks and Naughty Boy, although I can see the new entries from Murray Gold, Rod Stewart and The Clash falling throughout the week so those two will probably be higher come Sunday. I do hope Madonna can remain Top 40 but I'm not too sure if it's at #37 at the moment. Like I mentioned previously, considering the first week sales of her other live albums, I'd have thought MDNA World Tour would manage 5k for the week at least.

London Grammar looking to remain Top 20 and all the Arctic Monkeys climbs are nice to see in the singles!

What a BRILLIANT top 4 on the albums  I really hope the Arctics can clear three figures, been far too long since that happened. Edit: Yusss!

I don't expect Coldplay will hold on to the top 10, but nice to see them there initially anyway. Hopefully Arcade Fire will be top 40 next update unless they've started falling on iTunes, which I hope isn't the case. Great to see Bastille climbing, I've really come round to it and thought it had stalled after its placing last week.

Ouch at MKS. :( Whoever decided on a Friday release should be fired.

Does it really matter when it was released, it was always going to be a pretty small hit. Who cares about whether it charts at #23 (then disappears) or at #42?

Nice clear out in the album chart. 4 in the top 10 that i should be getting soon (Arctic, LG, Janelle and The Weeknd).

Also Drake YAY. Could be set for top 3 come Sunday if he keeps increasing at this rate.

11-20

14 Arctic Monkeys [DIWK?] - $UCCE$$.

16 London Grammar

These are the big album fallers

Rizzle Kicks down to #19

Naughty Boy down to #20

Avenged Sevenfold down to #28

Nine Inch Nails down to #30

Ariana Grande down to #39

As I said in the 'AM' prediction thread, I did think people were underpredicting them but even I wasn't expecting to see them almost at 100k already after just 2 days. So happy to see it though, this era is an incredible comeback for them both musically and commercially. HOORAY for London Grammar coming for the #2 album as well  And 'Strong' actually climbing a place! Doubt it'll actually hold that all week but a very encouraging start.

Ouch at Madonna only midweek #37, like liamk97 said she should easily have gone top 20 based on the success of her previous live albums.

'Sex' back in the top 40 :o Looks like it'll definitely outsell 'The City' by quite a lot at this rate.

Excellent and thoroughly deserved sales for 'AM'! :yahoo: Glad to see London Grammar and Goldfrapp also in the albums top three. :)

Potentially a HUGE drop off there for Katy, will Roar even sell 80k this week?

Good to see. Out of their 3 singles The City is the worst by far.

Agreed. Won't listen to 'The City' by choice whereas I do so with 'Chocolate' and 'Sex', although I don't mind hearing it on radio or what not.
