Posted September 10, 201311 yr How I compile my charts: With a few exceptions, I don't go out of my way to seek out new songs - I usually wait until I hear them on the radio. I mainly listen to Radio 1 and for this reason, most (though not all) songs in my chart are those which are played on Radio 1. I don't usually add a song to my chart until it's playlisted on Radio 1. Songs generally tend to climb gradually as they grow on me, peak and then fall fast, so the chart looks similar to an 80's/90's singles chart. I also usually get bored of a song within a few weeks, so songs don't generally tend to hang around the chart for more than a few weeks - typically around 9 or 10 weeks for a Number 1. Not many people seem to be happy with 'Lose Yourself to Dance' being released, but I personally love it and think it's the best choice. Hey Liam :) I actually really like the messy production in R U Crazy, I don't know why but I always seem to really like his singles! I think Jessie's screechy vocals is what puts me most off It's My Party :(

Hey Mack, thanks for commenting :) I think with enough airplay Lose Yourself To Dance could become a minor hit (Top 30/Top 40) but like most people I think Instant Crush would have made for a better single.
