Saw a documentary on Vienna Laura, plenty of history there to do with the old Habsburg empire (Austro-Hungarian, Holy Roman). Never been but I have seen pictures of the palaces, they are amazing.

IT is indeed lovely! Beautiful buildings. I went to look at the Hofburg Pakace today which is a huge building and was the seat of the Habsburgs for hundreds of years. It was amazing. Very elaborate architecture and lovely wide open boulevards.
