I would love to see him suffer a Paxman grilling at this juncture... :heehee:

I went to the Tower of London yesterday on a day excursion on coach. My head is still intact, I think...

I love the Tower of London , hate the tradmilly thingy though in front of the Crown Jewels, does not allow you to stop & stare -_-

I love the TOL too. I know what you mean about the conveyor belt past the jewels but I guess they don't want anyone lingering about there.

I'd recommend Windsor Castle too. That's very beautiful inside also. Lovely grounds too.

I didn't see the Crown Jewels, the queue to see those was far too long and my feet weren't up to that. I saw the White Tower, the place where Henry VI is supposed to have died and the other two chapels and the Royal residence that Edward I had built. Also went on a Beefeater tour.

Has she got the legends slot?

I'm sure she'll be really good.

I do not know Laura, all I know is that she was due to appear last in 2005 but got ill at the time , it's a 2hr set starting on BBC1 at 19.00

I never knew that John McEnroe was born in Germany :o

I watched his programme tonight. I think he's great. I used to go watch him and Connors back in the day when you could slip into Wimbledon on the first day without queuing and watch all the top seeds in their first round matches. I always loved those two. I remember John McEnroe's semi final against Connors in 1977 when he was only 17. You could tell he was going to go on and do great things. Not sure how he can be 60 already.

Yes - we've been enjoying it very much in the Stanley Household Tess. :cheer:

Did you see tonight's match? The drama! :drama:

We weren't good enough to win but I believe we gave US a run for their money.

Such good publicity for UK Ladies Football.

Then they had an advert on BBC for Ladies Netball World Cup in a few weeks time.

Must admit - that was never a game I enjoyed at school..... The tall girls were all better. <_<
