Sophie Countess of Wessex is taking over some of the roles of Meghan & Harry , Sophie is a very beautiful lady ...she reminds me of Lady Diana in a way

They're a family that very much keep out of the spotlight don't they.

Also looking forward to seeing the new Bond movie.

I'm quite partial to a bit of Daniel Craig's Bond.

That's us out of Europe then..... -_-

O Laura !! I forgot all about it , I meant to come online & have a bit of A party , sorry to see you folks go but you will always be in my heart being close neighbours & all that

The immigration laws etc do not affect us Iriah or you folks over here, we both have special exemption status under the new agreement

My main question will be how it will affect the airports & ports , will it slow things down etc

GPB today v Euro is @ .84 which is a bit of a whop if I want to do shopping in the UK , hopefully the market will have settled down by May when I intend going to London on a shopping trip -_- , good for Irish tourism though , makes it way cheaper for UK folks coming here

Glad all this talk about Brexit is over, they have time to thrash out a deal and hopefully focus on more pressing issues such as the NHS, roads, education and the like.
The Six Nations start today :cheer:

Yep - Mr Stanley is very happy. That's his weekends sorted. ^_^

I think the talking is just beginning.

But I agree - they need to focus on other stuff.

… and Trump is going to weasel his way out of his Impeachment trial.

The world today.... -_-

The joys of rugby.....

On the big home front, things are looking dire for me dad...he's been dealing with congestive heart failure for several months, and he had a seizure this past October, necessitating a permanent pacemaker being put in. He's been dealing with recurring UTI's, a bout of sepsis, and waning appetite....he was admitted back to the hospital this past Wednesday from the rehab facility he was in since mid-October...the doctor at the hospital in charge of his care told us last night his prognosis is very poor at this point....on top of all his current issues, he's got Parkinson's disease....

Your poor Dad. that's a lot to contend with

I stopped and saw me dad on the way home from work today, he was awake, but didn't seem to recognize me when I stepped in the room. His nurse told me he hasn't been very coherent the past 2 days, but says 'stop' or 'ow' when something hurts. He's on 2 IV antibiotics along with 2 other IV's, along with something being given him through a nasogastric tube for nutrition, since he hasn't eaten in more than a week. Methinks whatever the infection is he has is the main cause for his confusion and not recognizing people from his family. Hopefully he'll stay on the mend.

Hopefully the talking can be done in the background.

Wish you all the best Biggie. My dad has Parkinson's as well.
