Thanks for asking Laura, I could be feeling better if I am honest , I think it's coming to a head , it's not exactly the flu , just a bad cold etc...another few days I should be ok

 

I am away for the weekend doing a bit of shopping etc , not exactly good timing,

My main concern is the HARD border issue with NI , they better get that one right , I sincerely hope they give it the attention it deserves & make it workable

The whole thing makes me really sad. Just a complete and absolute cock of a decision and we're all paying for it. -_-

 

They can't even get past the divorce settlement yet Tess, goodness knows when they will get around to discussing the border.

 

I think they are going to run out of time and I don't think David Davis is up to the job. What qualifications does he have to pick his way through the 44 years worth of complicated rules and regulations of the EU and untangle us from Europe? I can't stand his old colonial xenophobic view of Britain in the world. The rest of Europe are going to make us pay for voting leave and I don't blame them. They begged us to stay but we voted out. They're going to make it as hard as possible to leave. Surely our politicians have realised that? :huh:

It should not be about money though Laura , not everything has a price in terms of money, I am more scared about the NI issue which could supper the whole lot yet . A General Election is looking very likely over here & that does not help the Brexit situation for the UK as I firmly believe that the NI issue will be the stickling point & the Government here will have a say in that through Europe seeing as the GOV were part of the Good Friday agreement . I would prefer to see them delay Brexit than get it wrong on that issue very important issue :unsure:

For those ailing, I can relate.....I've been sniffling meself the past 10 days or so.....compounding the sniffles was the sudden passing of Mama big's beloved dog Wednesday last week....the pooch hadn't eaten for a couple of days, which made mama big worried....she was able to get the dog to the vet, the vet taking some x-rays and doing some blood work, and at that time the vet thought it may be heart related, and they wanted to keep the dog for a couple of days for observation....sadly, the dog passed round 7:00 p.m. local time Wednesday, and with the home phone on the fritz, they couldn't call to let us know right then....wasn't until Thursday morning when mama big called the vet's office to check up on the dog, she was dealt the sad news....I still expect to be greeted by that lovable pesky mutt when I walk in the house after work... :( :( :( :( :(

That is awful news Mr B . People really do love their pets, I do not have a dog but can understand how you feel :(

45 Billion is the figure being thrown around for the GB exiting the EU, I will be really pi**ed off if it all comes down to money & that looks like the way it is heading

 

 

Same old story, money is always the deciding factor & to hell with the real issues :angry:

Is it me or is the weather very cold, I find I am wearing more & more clothes when I go out as it's freezing & then I go into a store & I am suffocating with the heat & look stupid at the same time :unsure:

Interesting - The EU have handed the Brexit poisoned chalice to Ireland I see.... will be interesting to see how this pans out :angel: I guess both the EU & the UK can blame Ireland if it all goes wrong :angry:
