That sounds good.

We had a mixture of dogs, babies, children. They've all gone home now and I'm settling down with the chocolates and the TV and the internet. B-)

Why O Why !! does everyone love Mrs Brown Boys , maybe it's because it reminds me of the plays I used to go to in the local hall when I was in Primary school

I love Mrs Brown's boys ..... :P

My two favourite programmes over Christmas were Maigret with the brilliant Rowan Atkinson and a Frank Skinner documentary on George Formby. It was really interesting. :)

Other than that thought the TV very patchy.

It's never very god at Xmas Laura , they keep all the sh*t progs until the end of the year , I was watching a tv doc on Laurel & Hardy last night , gave an insight into their lives behind the comedy . There were a couple of good films on ...Birdman with Edward Norton was on last night, I like him as an actor

Watched a BBC4 programme on Elvis today - about his 1968 comeback special.

Such a gorgeous man and wonderful performer.

Later on there was a repeat of various artists performing Elvis.

RW was at the end in a Jools Holland performance of Suspicious Minds. Giving it plenty of welly. From around 2002 I'm guessing.

Really glad both Ringo Starr and Barry Gibb have been given Knighthoods. Well deserved.

Robbie will have to wait another year for his OBE...... <_<

Every year I think - what more does he have to do? But then I think - stuff 'em

Waiting for my knighthood

She can pin it on my manhood :P

Anthony Hopkins, one of my favourite actors , 80 years old today

Did you hear his waltz Tess? It was performed by Andre Rieu and his orchestra a few years ago.

It hasn't been an easy end of the year for me as I have been unwell with a virus. I went back to work today, have tomorrow off and back Tuesday. I will see how I cope after that.

Hope everyone has a great 2018 ahead.

One of mine too! I saw this on Twitter. Amazing actor. Amazing presence and wonderful speaking voice.

Just looked this up again Tess, according to Wikipedia he is listed as composer in occupation and there is more detail in the other work section there.
