Isn't that more like rugby than football?

It's more closely related to Gaelic ( Irish ) football , you get a lot of Irish lads going over to Australia to play the game , it's exciting & very physical

No. I usually place an anniversary in my signature these days. In the month of May, the first rules were established for Australian Rules Football back in 1859.

I do enjoy watching Aussie Rules Football...can be very physical at times...haven't seen any matches here on telly for a while, but it's something that can be exciting to watch....especially when they turn out to be high-scoring affairs....

Geelong, Sydney, Perth, Melbourne....those are the teams I can remember off the top of me noggin...

The Aussies have come over here several times to play a mixed Aussie rules/gaelic game, really exciting ...

Saints preserve me, me mum's adopted 2 chihuahua mixes, a brother/sister duo, 5 years old.....the male whines for both food and attention, his sister bullies him on occasion....heaven forbid they be closed in their cage, they whine like mad, throwing in an occasional bark till mum lets them out....only way to keep them out of the bedrooms and off the beds at night is closing the bedroom doors....and they have the habit of going potty in the house....
Sounds chaotic Biggy. :o From the sound of this I am wondering how long it will last....
I do not see the point of having dogs in cages, I would prefer not to have a dog at all , I don't think it's fair to lock them up, just my personal opinion

What do you mean Tess? Those "training" cages?

We have Prince Charles & Camilla visiting here at the mo :)

I'm going to see Rocket Man tomorrow - the Elton John bio.

I LOVED Bohemian Rhapsody so hoping this is as good. B-)

What are they visiting Tess?

Went to see Rocket Man tonight.

It was EXCELLENT.

Very much warts and all but it made you care.

Glad he got his happy ending in life. ^_^

What are they visiting Tess?

I think Price Charles went to Co Wicklow to look at woodlands etc & not sure what Camilla did. This is their second visit . I think the timing is related to the on-going Brexit situation, keeping relations good between neighbouring countries etc
