Those bush fires in Australia look dreadful, my brother lives in NSW, they are ok so far thank goodness ..

Good news so far. I went through something similar with my cousin in New Zealand. Visiting a volcano is exactly the sort of thing she would do, thankfully got a message on Facebook reassuring us all.

Awful pictures coming from Australia. It looks horrendous and on such a massive scale. So much destruction as well. Of wildlife and properties.

I see the navy has been called in to rescue people from one town. This is very upsetting to watch...
