Me dad's funeral will be 25 February at 11:30 a.m., and interred in a local veteran's cemetery at 1:30 p.m. Have a cousin flying in just for the funeral Monday afternoon, and headed back home right after the funeral...

It seems that the Ireland v Italy rugby game scheduled for two weeks time is going to be postponed due to the Corona virus risk , main Italian support is from Nr Italy with 2.5k fans due to come here for the match :unsure:

At least they are taking action to try & prevent the spread of the disease, not sure how long we can escape :unsure:

The flooding is shocking , I wish the rain would stop .

It is rather worrying, they are in the process of carrying out work in the flood defences in certain parts of the country.

My daughter's wedding venue (a permanent marquee) has been flooded by a river bursting its banks. They're not taking anymore bookings and can't "guarantee" when they will be open again. :o

It must be one of the wettest February's ever mustn't it?

 

I read that February 26th last year was the warmest February day ever -21 degrees.

 

The weather has gone crazy.

I hope the Summer Olympics get to go ahead, I really feel sorry for all those athletes who have trained hard & are ready to go, timing is such an important factor in sport , especially athletics, so any delay would be dreadful ..

A lot of things are crazy in this world of ours at the minute :unsure:

Not enough covered seating areas at a bus station I was at today. It has been improved recently but I think more work is needed to keep passengers dry especially as they could be waiting an hour for a bus if they miss the previous one.

I am sick of the whole thing , first official case here announced this evening, someone that came back from Italy

 

We got a notification at work on Friday to say that we had to tell the company if we were travelling to a country where the virus had been found :unsure: .
