Went to see a band called Aslan last night , what a show . lead singer Christy reminds me of Robbie when he performs, put's his heart & soul into it along with getting the crowd to sing along

Tickets €25 , best money ever spent on a night out & we were right at the front

Not sure how this new laptop rule is going to work as far as security is concerned , I felt somehow a bit better knowing that they are scanned with hand luggage before going on board , I do not feel comfortable about they being loaded on to the hold of a plane , not sure how their scanning system works there & how thorough it is :mellow:

and... as someone said - the ban is only on direct flights. If a terrorist were to break their flight into another European airport before coming to Britain - there is no ban.

 

It does sound like they were responding to a specific bit of intelligence though doesn't it. I guess they're doing their best.

I bought an expensive jar of face cream recently ( at my age I need it <_< ) & when I opened it I discovered that there was more container than face cream , in fact they had a little centre section that contained the face cream & the rest was all plastic container. I am going to write to the company concerned & make a complaint , it's a disgrace that they would do something like that :o

I wasn't sure how I'd feel about it but it was really entertaining.

 

It was proper Queensbury rules. Very loud, very testostoroney, very noisy but a really good night. I'd go again.
