Hope the cardiac procedure goes well Biggy. I have been through a couple of heart operations myself, so fingers are crossed here. All the best.

As for Trump, this situation has suddenly escalated.

Also did anyone read about his request for a golden carriage as part of his state visit? Perhaps he would like to pay for all the additional security costs as a result of this request?

How about a nice Ass & cart :P , more fitting than a gold carriage

Very interesting. It takes place just over a month after the local council elections here. Not sure where austerity fits in there. Also she has called it after signing Clause 50. It seems to have caught the media rather on the hop.

 at ass and cart.

It's quite depressing for me as a Labour voter. :(

Corbyn doesn't have the pizzazz to be PM. He hasn't got a chance. I've got to wait five years until Sadiq Khan is free to run the party.

Until then it's Lib Dem or Monster Raving Looney Party for me....

She pulled a fast one alright & caught them all on the hop :o

Not sure what I make of her as Prime Minister , does she have to work twice as hard at been tough because she's a woman , from what I have seen of her so far she is no soft touch

Oh, baby: Serena Williams won the Australian Open while she was pregnant

Fab news for Serena

Well, I can tell you who's NOT the baby daddy.....me....

Anyhow, I don't think me girlfriend would be too happy even if I WAS the daddy....

And good luck to Serena and the rest of her family with the little one on the way...

Skinny scarf guy I am not....

I'm home resting after having a cardiac catheterization procedure done on 5/2....nothing found requiring stents to be put in, but, as my cardiologist put it, I have an artery in front of me heart that looks like a lake with blood pooling in it, causing bouts of chest pain rather than looking like a pencil...I'm to make a follow up appointment with him in 2 weeks....he wanted to go in at the wrist for this procedure, but, since I couldn't rotate my arm into the position he wanted, he wound up going in through the groin area instead....was awake the whole time, and it felt weird feeling the lead used traveling through inside...now just to take it easy the next few days as directed....me back and right leg are really, really sore, me back from spending 6 hours lying flat on it after the procedure....was on me back about 9 total, counting the time spent in the prep room beforehand....

It all sounds very scary Mr Big , I am sure it's all worth it

Well, that procedure was the next step, since meds were tried first to see if those might alleviate the problems with the chest pain flare ups, and I was still having pain occasionally...I was worried, yes, about having the procedure done, not knowing what to expect....but, no blockages requiring stents, so, for that I'm grateful at this point...now to see what I find out when I have me follow up visit with me cardiologist...

Hope the next stage goes well Biggy. As I mentioned earlier, I have been through some cardiac procedures before.

Thanks for the encouragement, Flatty....I could curl hair with stories of familial heart issues/procedures.....

I was listening to a report with the US London Media correspondent this morning on Radio London.

He said although there is no direct evidence of links to the Russians over the election at the moment, the sacking felt very "Nixonian".

It does make you wonder what will come out. Only thing that gives me a bit of hope with him.

& it took a long time to bring Nixon down  . Problem with folks that believe they are 100% right is that it is hard to get them unstuck

Trump appears to be a walking disaster so far from what I can see. North Korea, "security" policy over who can fly where... :P
