2 months of unemptied bins in Birmingham , that is a disgrace, can you imagine the state of the place & people having to live under those conditions , have the Council no pride in their city plus the health issues involved , can you imagine the rats must be having a field day

Hope they don't expect people to pay the fines issued by the environmental rangers. Er where is an empty bin to put my rubbish? :teresa:

Do you remember the "winter of discontent" 1978/79 when the refuse collectors (amongst others) went on strike? Just before the end of the Callaghan Labour Government?

Piles of rubbish feet deep in Leicester Square etc.

It's strange to think back to the 70s now and all the strikes. It seemed like there was always one section of workers on strike at any one time. In the winter anyway.

Is anyone else old enough to remember the three day week in 1972/3? Power cuts? The Ted Heath Government? I can remember going shopping with my Mum during a power cut and having baths by candlelight. As a kid I found it quite exciting but it must have been a horrible time to live through as an adult......

Laura ...did you & Hubby get to the PF exhibition yet !!

Next Sunday Tess :)

As you look at the artists forums when you first log on - who writes the blurb under the artist's name? I'd like to re-write that please with everyone's agreement. :)

It's very dull and I'm sure we can come up with something far wittier and original for such a vibrant performer. ^_^

How do we do it please?

The Artist Mods of that particular forum have the power to change it so you'd probably have to ask Jade or Cameron to do it for you :D

I was thinking -it would be nice to use his own lyrics

Something like - "Yes, that's right, my name's Bob, the one who landed the pop star's job"

or "I'm the one who put the Brits in celebrity"

or "You all know who I am I'm still the boy next door, that's if you're Lord Litchfield and Roger Moore"

or - something from the Robbie anthem? :teresa:

God bless our Robbie

He's king of song

He can swing like a bast*rd

And can rock all night long

Yes he went to rehab

Drugs and drink took him low

But he would still make Rudebox

And give rap a go

But when all is considered

He still rules the throne

God bless our Robbie

He can swing both ways

He is totally global

Except in the U S of A

One day he will be knighted

And his work will be done

He'll stand proud and fearless

His face forever young

God bless our Robbie

He is so well hung

what about " But he would still make Rudebox and give rap a go" :P

or "he is totally global, except in the U S of A"

even "God bless our Robbie He is so well hung" is better than nothing

what does anyone else think/ We just need something that captures his wit and irony I think. ;)

or we can use more serious lyrics if anyone prefers?

O Yes, i remember that one , it just has to be his National Anthem , how appropriate

I cannot think of a better introduction

& we could do with a different banner , I am not keen on the one we have at the mo even though it represents his current album , We should get a new one when UTR11 drops ...

Me neither.....

That's made me chuckle all by myself here

I'll make that happen for you guys! We will update the banner with each era but if you ask Joseph nicely he might make you one

Nice one Laura. Do you have a suitable caption B-)

Have you decided on an intro as well

Google wouldn't allow us to use that 😂

Could someone do a photoshop & stick a teatowel over the offending area

What a shame  we could have captioned it " Robbie Williams - shaking his arse since 1990" :P

Google wouldn't allow us to use that 😂

Why is that Cameron
