I didn't vote. There was nothing that really grabbed me enough for me to pick up the phone, although I'm still quite happy with the winner. I did quite like Eoghan's song too, and the last one was quite interesting also. The first song had a nice melody in the chorus, but I found her singing to be quite weak in the verses. I think she needed to project herself more.

Interesting entry. Good to see the tradtional Irish sounds mixed with contemporary pop, fingers crossed for a good result!
It has a similar feel to Teardrops but nowhere near as good, i cant make up my mind whether i like it or dont like it.

Always usually love the Irish entries but this is dire - And she needs to drop the gays behind her doing the irish jig/Riverdance!
omg I love the traditional motives but this sounds way too much like Teardrops.
I totally don't hear that. It is kind of Eurovision by numbers though...

Eoghan Quigg may have managed to qualify in the final over Kasey. I did think Eoghans song was stronger and was surprised the Irish didnt vote for him over Kasey.
I really don't think Eoghan would have fared any better. We did the best with what we had to work with.
Kasey's vocals weren't too bad and the song was great, ultimately the staging let it down in my opinion. Although I did read Kasey's vocals were poor in the jury rehearsal so that won't have helped :(

You knew by the performance that we weren't going to get through. The Irish dancers were nice but completely out of place, as had been pointed out to them umpteen times by the panel during the NF. RTÉ can get the staging so so right (2011) and so so wrong (last night). When we DNQd in 2009 I was gutted because I honestly thought we should've been in the final, but almost all of the qualifiers this year (bar Belarus) deserved to qualify over us so it's fair game. I just hope this will FINALLY give way to RTÉ actually stepping back and reevaluating their approach to the contest because I can't take any more secondhand cringe.

Time for Linda Martin to join the dole queue. http://imageshack.com/a/img835/7705/904m.gif Irish media outlets are reporting that RTÉ WON'T be pulling out of Eurovision (fairly obvious) but they WILL be scrapping the selection process. Hurrah!!!
Paddy Power have announced that they will be refunding all bets placed with them for Iteland due to being so disappointed that they didn't qualify! Can't see them having to refund to much €/£ though to be fair!
Nadine Coyle for 2015 :cheer:

The woman was made for Eurovision.

YES *.*

Was kind of hoping for O.R.B, Heathers or Wallis Bird, but Imelda would be great as well. :P
