wait what? Clean version of Work Bitch is out? while explicit is still on pre-orders? Her team is absolutely the worst on earth.

Could be a close chart battle this week. I have no idea who'll be #1 yet, but maybe it'll become clear later in the week.

Top 3 combined

1 Jason Derulo 10327

2 One Republic 10111

3 Katy Perry 10000

Come on 1R best track from the top 3

Jason Mraz practically owes his entire UK career to X Factor...back yet again, as he is annually with one of his two 'biggest #11's ever'.

Oh lord at Britney releasing so randomly :drama: Not got a good feeling about how this is going to do...

Counting Stars just doesn't feel like a big hit at all, I don't mind it as a song, but it would be a rather bizarre number 1.

Was going to post the exact same thing, it's such a "there" sort of song. Wouldn't make the worst #1 though (especially as it would be following on from Derulo).

Well it would certainly fit in with most of the #1's we've had this year...

Most of them haven't been BIZARRE, I'd only say PJ & Duncan were actually cause it was so out of the blue. Get Lucky was a shock at the time also but it does sound like a hit. Not liking it doesn't mean it's bizarre.

I never said that because I didn't like them they made bizarre #1's.

Well what else would you say has been BIZARRE then?

I'd class 'bizarre' as not seeming like a big hit. Subjective of course, but even so.

I'd say the only number 1 that was 'bizarre' this year looking back was probably the Bingo Players/Far East Movement, it never felt big at all and its chart run pretty much cemented it as a non number 1. And PJ & Duncan of course, but the circumstances were a bit different with that.

You give off the impression you're partially sighted...

Obviously though (or so I thought) it would come down to opinion, whether the mass majority agree or not, up to them...

Thankfully ' Wrecking Ball ' is out next week so it should ensure that Conor Maynard is not number one with ' R U Crazy ' although it wouldn't surprise me if Conor went to number one on iTunes for a while as he has pre-orders.

I heard the Bingo Players song probably hundreds of times before Radio 1 even paylisted it. I'm sure there's lots of people in the country that have never even heard it, but it was a very big song for a lot of people. In terms of the charts, once Radio 1 stopped playing it, it had little else to keep its sales up.

I don't mind which of them gets #1. I think Wrecking Ball is quite nice, but Conor's song I prefer (although it's not as good as Can't Say No or Vegas Girl).

Oh, the original felt big, definitely. I heard that a lot before the remix as well. But this new version seemed to be looking like being massive, but never took off. Like, I never heard/hear it anywhere any more, and I listen to Kiss/Capital all day :P That's what I mean by 'bizarre'

Hopefully 'Wrecking Ball' gets #1 over 'R U Crazy'. I love the two of them, but the former was much more instant, and it'd be great to see her get another UK #1.
