October 15, 201311 yr It's because people save up for Christmas that every market (not just music) stalls during autumn. E.g in box office mojo, they said that September was very low, tickets wise. It's just the season atm ok so i'm guessing thats why Headlines! was their highest album as it was released in summer?
October 15, 201311 yr Yeah it's all about sales climates. OYR would probably have only charted a few places higher than it did if it had been in the summer but other than that, it's opening sales would've adapted to the sales climate around that time. If OYR was released this week. It would've done about 8,000 k :(

October 15, 201311 yr Pretty much! #21 on Amazon album charts. The highest a sats album has been since Headlines.
October 15, 201311 yr i do think the album would have fared better after What About Us, not only cause it was their first number one, but i don't recall many albums out the week after that
October 15, 201311 yr What I domt understand is why they release their singles and albums during big competition. Disco love could've peaked at #3-#2 of it was released a week before or even after. Then they release the album when 6 other albums are contending for the top 10
October 15, 201311 yr exactly, you would have thought they would have learned by now but nope! of course i love the girls and their music, just wish the promotion and release times were thought out a bit more
October 15, 201311 yr It'll most likely debut at #6 and should have a bit of longevity though! Edited October 15, 201311 yr by vivek
October 15, 201311 yr The thing with albums is that you never know where they'll peak as there are so many factors contributing to its final sales
October 15, 201311 yr exactly, and it is hard to get it in all in the right places if you get me? Edited October 15, 201311 yr by allfiredup93
October 15, 201311 yr I ended up NOT buying this tonight (:heehee:), but I will try and get it by next week. At least it's on my iTunes for now.
October 16, 201311 yr Alan Titchmarsh this afternoon, which will obviously save the day and send his audience down to HMV and online in their droves to get their copies. <_< And that's the only promo this week. Should have done some signings. The girls/their team are so irritating at times. They're not/have not done anything to help the situation. Edited October 16, 201311 yr by Encore
October 16, 201311 yr Alan was in my town today, i should have said something haha yeah the team really need to step up their game for the next album (if we get one)
October 16, 201311 yr We will get one! I just want this to chart top 10 first of all :/ which I am now worried about they are #17 on itunes, but who knows, maybe that Asda deal is working :P How many viewers does Alan normally get??
October 16, 201311 yr yeah i do think we will get another album, i mean if we got one after performance of OYR then why shouldn't we after this? always a worry though yeah #17 is worrying, that's why they should have had more promo lined up :/ not too sure about Alan's ratings though
October 16, 201311 yr Surely the performance will at least give the song a measly 1% on iTunes back into the top ten?
