October 16, 201311 yr Albums Update Tribute - (#2) #2 Paul McCartney (NEW) - (#6) #16 Cher - Closer to The truth - (#9) #19 LFTW - (#20) #27
October 16, 201311 yr Unfortunately if they go for Leave A Light On then it's going to flop. Radio 1 only B-Listed Gentleman and Disco Love and they're struggling with airplay as it is, so if they release a ballad then it's just going to bomb. Not Giving Up will at least get strong Capital support and is more likely to get Radio 1 support. This.
October 17, 201311 yr albums Ireland itunes deluxe - #218 standard - #549 don't know what happend Deluxe was #41 at 6pm lastnight standard was #99 at 6pm lastnight. Unless its an error.
October 17, 201311 yr Listening to this now and i agree with the recent comments, 'Leave A Light On' is so basic :/ Would not work as a single at all. Now 'Not Giving Up' i can fully get behind  The 'All Fired Up' of this era?? It could be (but please NO live performances that would just be a gigantic hot mess).

It really is like a better AFU though!!
October 17, 201311 yr Better :o!?!? It's very good and quite similar but i doubt they'd ever be able to top 'All Fired Up'.
October 17, 201311 yr They're both pretty much the most similar sounding songs they've recorded. Not Giving Up is more of a proper song, though as it has verses and a middle 8 and then a chorus and hook wheres All Fired Up is just basically three choruses with some random hooks in between. I prefer Not Giving Up since it sounds bigger and more anthemic but who knows, maybe I'm just saying that because it's newer.
October 17, 201311 yr Better :o!?!? It's very good and quite similar but i doubt they'd ever be able to top 'All Fired Up'. I actually really like AFU but I prefer NGU cause like someone said, it's bigger sounding and sounds more llike a song. They'd better release it though.

October 17, 201311 yr I'm sorry but the Saturday's should just end their singles sales are Ok but their albums are rubbish. I think they should just end instead of trying each year and fail
October 17, 201311 yr Troll alert! Anyway, I'll never understand the hype for All Fired Up. It was a great track but so far inferior to pop masterpieces such as Not Giving Up. The video is what made it click for me, not the actual song.
October 17, 201311 yr My Rate... What About Us (feat. Sean Paul) - 9 - would be a 10 without Sean. Disco Love - 9 - Very catchy but the verses and the lack of Frankie stop it being a 10. Gentleman - 6 - A decent album track (although it feels odd in this album) but a weak single choice made me like it a little bit less. Leave a Light On - 10 - So very close to being 11 but find Rochelle's voice really screechy in the middle 8 (should have been given to Frankie) Not Giving Up - 10 - this started as a 6 but just keeps getting better. Frankie just sounds amazing on her bit <3 just like All Fired Up. Lease My Love - 9 - Again has grown on me loads. Who sings underneath Rochelle at the end its it Frankie then Vanessa? 30 Days - 8 - Love this song but I really don't like it on this album. Anywhere With You - 7 - It is a decent song but really doesn't need the BORING RAP. Problem With Love - 7 - another very decent track but the breakdown RUINS it. You Don't Have The Right - 5 - Dull and the dire lyrics make this the lowlight on this album but there are some nice touches to it. Don't Let Me Dance Alone - 8 - Really catchy chorus and brilliant verses let down by a choppy bridge and a bad middle 8. Somebody Else's Life - 9 - This is so much better than the acoustic and I'm really glad it made the album. A perfect upbeat to finish the album. Average rating: 7.5 but as an album some songs seem out of place so 7 is what I give it.
October 17, 201311 yr Troll lol. I like the Saturday's but I just fell sorry for them. Wasn't beging nasty I just don't think their albums sales live up to singles sales.
October 17, 201311 yr Not Giving Up is a shining gem in an otherwise terrible album. SUCH A JAM. They would be crazy to not release it next.
October 17, 201311 yr Not Giving Up is a shining gem in an otherwise terrible album. SUCH A JAM. They would be crazy to not release it next. I don't think the album is terrible. But, if LFTW underperforms, then NGU could save it :)
October 17, 201311 yr It isnt terrible as such, just compared to their other albums it doesn't shape up as nicely imo.
October 17, 201311 yr We're not getting into a Girls Aloud vs The Saturdays argument in here.. or anywhere in fact. Discuss The Saturdays' album.
