It's normal that there aren't any news about a new single, as at this time of the year radios are too busy with Christmas and year-end lists to care about new releases. We should get some word after NYE.

Arena or nothing. Theatre would be embarrasing when other bands are selling stadiums and arenas

I think they'd be able to do what they did on the 'All Fired Up' tour tbh.. I mean the arena's weren't full but they were full enough.

Plus, they're just as, if not more, popular as they were before.

I can't imagine them playing the Hydro in Glasgow over the Clyde Auditorium, tbh. Seems more likely (that's if they come to Glasgow :P)

Yeah ^^^ I think your right. They did 127,000 tickets out of a possible 154,743 on the AFU tour. It would be nice if they went to the US and supported - they could maybe support The Wanted or 1D?

I'd see them doing the 02 as a major point in the career, and by avoiding Brighton and Bournmouth they can attract more fans to London.

If it is an arena tour then in that case hopefully they don't forget that Edinburgh is home to the Usher Hall. :P

I doubt the wanted will get dropped. Just because this album flopped. They've had hit singles and albums Back to back until this year, and they've only cancelled the European dates for their tour. They are still touring Ireland, UK and USA.

I think if anything the boys will split to avoid the humiliation of being dropped (if it does come to that). But at least they're still together and touring for now! :cheer:

They will probably do arenas in the cities they have done well last year and more theatre tours (I mean, not just one date) in the cities they couldn't sell more than half of the arena.

 

Thing is, The Saturdays are kinda in between theatres and arenas. They are definitely too good for theatre, they would sell out really quickly. Therefore, going for something with a bigger capacity is logically the best idea...except that they can't sell out arenas.

 

So yup, I say go for arenas in the cities you know you will sell (they know where they have sold the most) and keep theatres for the cities you can't sell much tickets. If it's sold out, just do more dates to get them $$$.

I hate to raise this topic again but Little Mix have their Salute Tour which is selling out really fast with extra dates already being confirmed. If people are into both bands and have already purchased Salute tickets, will their be an uptake for The Sats Tour?

 

I am personally hoping the Tour is February to March time AND PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THAT IS HOLY LET THERE BE A BRIGHTON DATE!

I'm certain that those ticket stats on Wikipedia are completely made up. For starters, there are no sources.

 

It states that there were 15,643 tickets available for Birmingham LG - but that's how much it holds at full capacity. I was there for that date, and the arena was at half capacity. At least half of the blocks were curtained off, and the stage was constructed in the middle of the arena floor. I don't think there were any more than around 6,000 people in the audience on that night - certainly not the 12,000 that the Wikipedia article claims.

There's proof for CTS. Can't find proof of LFTW because only the weekly Top 10 is archived. According to AllMusic (which in my experience has always had accurate chart positions) it reached #25. http://www.allmusic.com/artist/the-saturda...01023960/awards
