Is it just me that thinks Lee hates Jenny? everytime she speaks he leans further and further away from her, like he's repulsed or something.

Channel 4 have announced that Gogglesprogs (the kid's special that is airing on Christmas Day) will return for a six part series next year! :o

Not sure who, but there was a couple from Gogglebox in my town today. Nobody noticed them until it was brought to someones attention, then following that everyone subsequently crowded around them :lol:

New series starts February 19th at 9pm and the Gilbey family are returning!

The father of the Malones is becoming my new favourite.

Has anyone been watching Gogglesprogs?

 

I loved the Christmas special and all the episodes so far have been very funny. Some of the kids are very spot on with their reactions/opinions, although some need to embrace being a child and not try to pretend to be older than they are. Some of them are very annoying but some of them are amazing, I particularly love the Welsh ones.

I don't like Gogglesprogs. I think the way the children pretend to be a lot older than they are. It's just weird!

There are so many familes on Gogglebox now! How are they gonna fit them all in? some familes might have to get dropped to make more screen time available.

I really liked Gogglebox when it started and for few years but the last few series they have done what all good shows tend to do and over do it by introducing too many families/friends etc, one episode in and was three new lots, the posh ones can go they tried this a few series ago and they soon disappeared, the two old ladies Mary and Marina I didn't mind they was on quite a bit and the three lads (brothers I think) was ok but it means the reason most of us enjoy and fell in love with the show, the original families aren't on every week or even sometimes go missing for a few episodes. I wish they didn't bring the Michaels and George and his family back although his mums quite funny but feels like too many people now

There's now 22 families, permitting that those who didn't feature last Friday are still actually doing the show, so I guess that could be a problem. However, it could mean that it gives some families the opportunity for a week off here and there which could lead to more episodes. We've been seeing a lot less of the likes of Steph & Dom and Sandy & Sandra in recent series anyway.

I tuned out as they started adding in new families and the existing ones starting becoming more self aware. The show just doesn't have the same feel or magic as when it first started out.

Reverend Kate is also on a break from the show, I think it's to do with their children starting to take GCSEs or something.

I've kind of tuned out now as well not even fussed when its on. There's nothing to like about the new families/friends anymore before you would invest in them and now its often weeks before you see them again. Also do we really need to be informed everytime where the family is from each week. Apart from Jenny/Lee, Sandi/Sandra and The Moffatts I dont think I really care about the rest now. I suppose it was only going to appeal for a certain amount of time but the more they try adding in people the more charm and appeal it loses to me.
