All kinds of bad news for Disco Love! They need to announce something now.

I wouldn't be surprised. <_< They just can't get enough momentum going to properly smash, that's the problem. Every time things are on the up they do something to destroy it.

You know what's really sad? They definitely had the right track with Disco Love, but the airplay was truly awful. :( The song was clearly connecting with the public somehow because it managed to sell even though there were no radio/tv support.

They need to do something for that little issue. I mean, look, it's okay if they are #5 with a #23 peak on radios. Obviously it's not a top 5 radios, which would probably got them a #1. #23 is still alright, I guess. But from that on, they should be going up like every artists would do. Instead, when the song is finally released, radios drop them of their playlists, stop playing them, etc. I mean, what the hell? They just had a hit, why not play it, you know?

This went to #23 in Australia last month. Don't think anyone noticed but I'd say that was pretty good.

I know it's all been said before, but I think the radios just looks confidence with them after Gentleman. I think Gentleman was probably the biggest mistake of their career, considering the success they could have gained off the back of WAU. They should have released Disco Love afterwards, which probably would been A listed on Radio 1 for a couple of weeks and have still be hanging around in the top forty at the 7th week of release. Then the obvious decision would have been to release Not Giving Up the week before the album.

I actually don't mind Gentleman, I think it would have made a quirky little ALBUM filler. But any enjoyment of that song has been tainted.

I think that's been made up on Wikipedia. They've not had any Top 100 hits in Australia this year (or ever, as far as I know).

It seems rather likely that 'Disco Love' will fall out of the Top 75 this week. 6 weeks in the Top 75 will be their 4th shortest stay within that region, only bettering 'My Heart Takes Over', 'Gentleman' and '30 Days'.

30 weeks - #05 - 'Up'

24 weeks - #09 - 'Ego'

20 weeks - #10 - 'Higher'

18 weeks - #04 - 'Issues'

15 weeks - #01 - 'What About Us'

11 weeks - #03 - 'Missing You'

11 weeks - #03 - 'All Fired Up'

11 weeks - #08 - 'Notorious'

10 weeks - #02 - 'Just Can't Get Enough'

10 weeks - #22 - 'Work'

09 weeks - #08 - 'If This Is Love'

08 weeks - #02 - 'Forever Is Over'

06 weeks - #05 - 'Disco Love'

04 weeks - #07 - '30 Days'

03 weeks - #14 - 'Gentleman'

03 weeks - #15 - 'My Heart Takes Over'

Total = 193 weeks

The longevity of 'Up' was quite incredible! 19 of those weeks were within the Top 40.

There was a link on Popjustice linking to the charts when it charted. It was in the middle of October and was on the official Australian chart site. It must have done well on Amazon or physicals or something?

It didn't chart! Not in the main ARIA chart anyway. If it charted on any chart over there, then perhaps it was Heatseekers, like 'What About Us'... but it definitely didn't make the main chart over there.

Here is a link with all the Top 100 chart runs for 2013 entries, and The Saturdays aren't there: http://ozsingles2012.blogspot.co.uk/ - note that Little Mix's 'Move' has a peak of #26 thus far.

There's also this link: http://pandora.nla.gov.au/tep/23790 which has 3 charts from October included, but 'Disco Love' doesn't feature in any of them.

If you type in any of the following dates: [ 06 10 2013 | 13 10 2013 | 20 10 2013 | 27 10 2013 | 03 11 2013 | 10 11 2013 | 17 11 2013 ] into this link: http://australian-charts.com/archive.asp - 'Disco Love' doesn't appear in any chart.

It's quite disheartening to see that as the newer songs come out the longevity decreases :(

*.* It's nice to know that the British public can get it oh so VERY right on occasion.

It's climbing on iTunes again. It's jumped 100 places since yesterday, both the single and now! version :)

To be fair, nobody's expecting it to last another week top 100 cause it was out the top 100 on iTunes all week almost so in thankful :D

It's annoying that after a two week delay since reducing, Skip To the Good Bit was added to the 59p section, and Disco Love hasn't (They were reduced the same day).

Maybe it will get added later, to increase longevity!! It'd be great to see it re-enter.
