Jahmene Douglas: 'Titanium' Some strange decisions on there (although some of those are great so I'm not complaining), including Lucy Spraggan being on there twice. Funny that they haven't put Steve on there though. It kind of makes you realise that once you take away the winner's singles, there's a lack of 'massive' hits.
October 17, 201311 yr Burke's two worst singles (but obvious why they were chosen of course). 'Do You Think of Me' the clear highlight
October 17, 201311 yr I'm surprised there's only one One Direction song on there, but oh well... YAY for 'Run For Your Life' on there, that is AMAZING, one of the best from an XF contestant. And woop for 'This Is Love' too :cheer:
October 17, 201311 yr I'm surprised there's only one One Direction song on there, but oh well... 'What Makes You Beautiful' and 'Little Things' are both featured.
October 17, 201311 yr Nice to see 'Is This Love?' (yes, it is called Is This Love) on the tracklisting. :D Also crying at the snubbing of the anthem that is Elephant. Maybe this release is a sign that the producers are planning an end to X Factor in the near future?
October 17, 201311 yr 'What Makes You Beautiful' and 'Little Things' are both featured. Oh I completely missed 'Little Things'. Nice to see that included (even if it should probably be 'Live While We're Young' or 'Kiss You' - or maybe even 'Best Song Ever'?)
October 17, 201311 yr Shoulda been Elephant instead of Bad Boys, but at least she's included Glad to see You Bring Me Joy and Do You Think Of Me on there
October 17, 201311 yr Pathetic list bar the songs from Olly Murs, strange they left out Please Don't Let Me Go too as thats probably his best song after Troublemaker
October 17, 201311 yr Nothing from 2 of the winners, Leon Jackson, or Steve Brookstein (the 1st X Factor #1)
October 17, 201311 yr Oh I completely missed 'Little Things'. Nice to see that included (even if it should probably be 'Live While We're Young' or 'Kiss You' - or maybe even 'Best Song Ever'?) Variety though! (and sales) I think it's a really great tracklist, there are perhaps five or six songs I don't care for at all so that's very good going..
October 17, 201311 yr I think the tracklist is pretty fair tbh including there biggest well known song ( there biggest two songs for some of them ) I probably would have included Jedward as well as much as I'm not a fan of them as they have done pretty well for themselves .
October 17, 201311 yr I think they should consider making a series of these, TBH. And in all honesty (it'll NEVER happen, but wishful thinking is quite alright) I would love them to do a CD of the best contestant performances on The X Factor (although how that would be calculated is a bit of a mystery, some people obv wouldn't be pleased), and maybe some previously unreleased performances, like sing-off songs (looking at Carolynne's version of 'There You'll Be' cos we need an HQ of that x), and group performances, the finalists' duets, etc.
October 17, 201311 yr Very glad to see Diana on there, I had a feeling they would leave her off for some reason! Overall a very good track listing! :D
October 17, 201311 yr One song in the history of X Factor stands out more than any other, Ruth Lorenzo - Purple Rain, it would not have taken more than a phone call to get Ruth into the studio to record Purple Rain for this 'album'
October 17, 201311 yr This puzzles me somewhat though...most on here like Olly, JLS and Little Mix are still rather recent to be considered as being part of a greatest hits album. K can see why this is being done but the featuring of certain artists feel a bit too soon for my liking.
October 17, 201311 yr The acts you mentioned are far from being the worst offenders on there though? At least those songs were actually hits, JLS themselves are bringing out a GH.
October 17, 201311 yr Really surprised they didn't include Want U Back by Cher instead of the awful Swagger Jagger! Pretty expected list with most being the winner singles and the biggest hits. A shame the winners singles are so bad in most cases. I'm guessing their not planning on ending the show after this series then, otherwise it'd make more sense to make the album after the winner of this show?
October 17, 201311 yr Really surprised they didn't include Want U Back by Cher instead of the awful Swagger Jagger! Well considering Swagger Jagger is her only #1 hit and what she is best known for whilst Want U Back only got to #25/26, it is quite understandable.
