Gary Barlow- Since I saw you Last, did badly with his first album, but people are interested in him again and he has sold well for his tour dates. #

One Direction-Midnight Memories do well and have good pre- orders

Susan Boyle- Home for Christmas also is a great seller and would appeal to the Christmas market.

X factor- Greatest hits is time fitting and has a great tracklist.

I cant call it. I think if Gary has the Take That support, he may just take it.

Well, I would fathom One Direction would be #1, with Gary a close second. SuBo will be in the 5-8 region and X Factor GH could be anywhere really.

I'd go with that, although I'd imagine SuBo will be Top 5.

One Direction will easily have the #1 there. Are people overestimating how many people will actually enjoy a Gary Barlow album? There are plenty Take That fans, but I imagine One Direction's fanbase will be considerably larger.
Wouldn't the XF GH be a compilation album?

Just thinking the same. It will go in the Compilation chart!

SuBo's sales have been steadily falling every year so I'll say 1D at No.1 with Gary Barlow top 5.

The X-Factor album will be up against the might of Now 86 on the compilation charts
I'd prefer Gary to win the battle. He is by far the most creative and talented. X Factor are just completly milking it by releasing a 10th anniversary album. Half of those hits are so dire they don't deserve to be on any album.

What a god-awful album that X-Factor one is. Very much a "where did they go" list. How many of them have been dropped very silently and sent back to their day job in Asda?

No Steve Brookstein either!

Hardly, I think that would be the case if they actually did include the ones who we'd be asking ourselves "Who even are they?" or "What exactly have they done since winning/leaving?"

Agree with John except SuBo may miss the top 10 this time I think.

I think she would have but for it being an Xmas album.

1D and Gary will both have big sales but 1D have this easily, probably helped by an X-Factor performance (it would make perfect sense to have one the night before the album drops)

SuBo could be anywhere between 5 and 15 really, hard to predict.

So we're probably looking at a week 7 performance from them in that case, unless they're promoting 'Story of My Life' as a single and not 'Midnight Memories'.

I think Borelow will win, although I'd love them all to lose tbh! I can see all the Take That fans and Take That fans' kids running out to buy it for themselves/for Christmas. Same with Robbie's new album!
Relevant as Gary may be as a public figure, I still think his youth appeal is virtually zilch. The lonely housewives market will be strong though, so honestly I could see it going either way between the two. Susan will be lucky to make the top 10, her time is well and truly over.
Susan Boyle will probably do somewhat better than expected but One Direction will top the charts followed by Gary Barlow.
If memory serves, a lot of people wrote off Gary's Sing last year - then before you knew it, it had 2 versions inside the top 6 on iTunes. Gary will have an XF slot and he'll be doing a lot of UK focused promo - CIN Rocks, JR etc and he sold out all his arena shows. I wouldn't write him off!
I would never understand why someone would willingly put themselves through a Gary Barlow song, let alone album.
