Suprised at how little Heart have played the song compared to last year though - if they played it the same amount this year it'd likely be a lot higher on iTunes! BBC Radio 2 & BBC Radio 1 have spun this again today though! :cheer:

Missed out on the top 100 this week in the charts - must've been very close once again!!

Shame it hasn't managed to go top 100 so far this year despite being in the 60's position for the last two weeks on sales alone. Shows just how important streaming is to the chart now. Should definitely be in the top 100 next Friday at least but would be disappointing if it doesn't even go top 75.

I'd like to see it improve on last years position, if it doesn't that would be hugely disappointing for me.

 

Shame Heart don't seem to be giving it much love this year.

Heart aren't giving it any love really. They played it a tiny bit at the start of December. No big Airplay at all really. It's not really been the Christmas classic i'd hoped.

I can't help but think how different things might have been for One More Sleep if the I Am campaign went successfully in the UK. If FUMF/I Am/Thunder (or an alternative single) managed to go top 40 I doubt stations like heart would be snubbing the track over the season, when it is a relatively recent Christmas hit.

There are very few big recent Christmas hits - everyone seems to favour the old classics (Mariah's actually being one of the more modern hits.) I LOVE 'One More Sleep' but anyone expecting this to become a perennial favourite is expecting a bit much I think.

It's more Christmas flopek than classic :(

Airplay building nicely and heart have started playing it again. BBC Radio 1 played it earlier too. Fingers crossed it'll get a lot of airplay in the next few days and especially Christmas eve!

#84 in today's midweek - looks like to beat its peak of #80 last year, with it climbing over the next few days due to increased airplay/streaming. And we have its best day to come - Xmas eve, where it should do very well in sales/streaming I hope! :D

Well Leona's streaming has been doing well so far, so even if missing data was included, it'd likely keep her around the same position or perhaps even higher. :) Hoping it'll do better this Xmas eve than last year. It peaked at #70 on spotify and #43 on iTunes. It's already matched the #70 peak and think it'll do much better than that (perhaps #30-#40 on Xmas eve). I think sales-wise it might do the same. Really hoping it's set for a top 75 placing.

 

 

Really hope it manages to make the top 100 this week! I'm gutted streaming pushed it out the last 2 weeks, we could have had 3 weeks of charting for 2015 :(
