Number 71 in the midweek chart information released today. With the Christmas songs climbing rapidly on the chart i would hope Leona can at the least gain a top 100 re-entry.

Down to 63 on Spotify UK, knew it would drop now the weekend is over and its not too much of a drop but hopefully she'll climb a little now.

 

Though she might fall a little more due to not having Top 50 exposure.

At least we now know when things hot up nearer to Christmas she'll be able to easily re-enter the top 50 and get some major climbs.

As of the Friday 1st December chart, its total is 249,530!

It's great to see this up there with the other Christmas staples every year but it seems to be doing far better than the previous 3 years. Just hoping this can re-enter the top 40 officially this time round.

That's simply because of spotify as long as the other Christmas songs doing better as well

Theoretical example, if Leona was streamed 1 million times, in 1 week:

 

If she was on ACR (300:1), it would be 3,333 sales from streaming

SCR (150:1) = 6,666 sales from streaming

For the song's overall total, it would be 10,000 sales from streaming (100:1) that would go towards the total

It's getting some play, but not from the biggest stations/networks (Magic are playing it - I think that's the biggest station I can find). Although a Leona fan showed it getting played on Heart xtra about a week ago. Although don't think it's gotten any plays since.

I would say its still too early, this is when it first got played on radio last year.

Capital - 14th December

 

Hopefully with it doing better on streaming and looking to chart better this year that will encourage earlier support.

Magic gave it a spin earlier this year. They've started playing it since the 1st of the month!

 

I hope she's discounted as well. Would be great to see her doing great in both streaming and sales for once, as opposed to one or the other.
