At last GaGa gets her first song since Born this way to reach number 1 on ITunes especially since Applause didn't quite manage from a shoddily release. Yay well done GaGa (and r Kelly) :cheer:

But Applause is part of the 'pre-order' thing and that didn't make #1, so while that is definitely a factor, I imagine that many people are buying the track without pre-ordering the album, too.

That's not the same as these weird Lady Gaga collabs. The reason it's weird for Lady Gaga is because the music she does is the polar opposite to what Too $hort or R. Kelly do. Lady Gaga should be collaborating with people like Armin Van Buuren, Taio Cruz, Cascada, etc.

 

Tulisa and Justin Bieber do similar music to Tyga, so it's easy to imagine a collab with them.
