Leona Lewis will release 'One More Sleep' on December 1st as the first single from her upcoming 4th studio album (and first Christmas album) 'Christmas, With Love' which will be released the day after the single. 'One More Sleep' is one of three original Christmas songs that will be on the 10-track album.

I love the song, I really hope it becomes successful for Leona! So catchy and the vocals are fantastic as always! :wub:

Another week and another top notch original Christmas single. I obviously prefer Queen Kelly's song, but this is an amazing effort in itself <3 Big future hit please. :wub:

I like this, i listened to both this and Kelly Clarkson today, both good stabs at christmas songs but i definitely prefer Leona's track and it deserves success.

I love this, I know I'm a Leona fan so I would but its probably my favourite Lead Single shes had out since Bleeding Love, Cause its so catchy.

 

Hope the radio play this and I know Syco idea of promo isn't just sticking her on x factor on 1st December. I think this song/album could actually do pretty well with the right promo.

I agree Brooke, it's my favourite lead single since "Bleeding Love". Amazing song and I hope it will do well. The early signs seem to be positive, so fingers crossed! :wub:

Loving loving this, its her first single i have properly liked in a very long time. Welcome back Leona.

It's a really good stab at a Christmas song, but Kelly's song is better and if only ONE of them were to be a hit, I hope it's it. Though I guess they could both get X Factor gigs which would help both a lot.

I think Leona has the stronger of the 2 and in the UK i think Leona will manage a hit, im not sure about Kellys. Likewise in the UK Leona's album will sell better.

I like this song a lot, more than Kelly's single actually. I hope it does well (not got high hopes), would make a great Christmas classic :wub: Artwork is great too, most personality she's shown since the Slutty Nun cover :lol:

Tbh i find it a shame that she's had to resort to a Christmas album. It's very safe from her label, and with her potential and past success with spirit I'm surprised she's gone in this direction.

 

P.s It's a good song though, I'd just prefer a studio album...

Am sure Leona said in a interview earlier this year that she is working on Christmas album and another normal album. I think the Christmas album might be getting put out to keep her name out there til next year.

If the Christmas album does well which i think it will she really needs to follow up fairly quick with new album to capitalise on the success. Keep the ball rolling approach is what she needs.

I agree, but only if the material for the next "normal album" is right. The Christmas album might sell well but it's not going to appeal to he people she needs to appeal to - the single-buying youth.

 

Frankly I don't actually know what that material should be, though. Oddly enough I can envision Leona going down a storm with a song like 'Work Bitch'. A reinvention with some sort of personality and purpose behind it is desperately needed.
