The video is directed by the same person who did Spinning Around and CGYOOMH so maybe the video will be a return to visit those aspects of kylie's career but updated etc.... Looks good

Didn't make the top 100 in Aus weirdly! :o

Anyway, it's a great pop song. Not quite All The Lovers but still brilliant. The string flourishes are gorgeous.

Has it been released in Australia?

I am not surprised at all honestly, given she/Australia have already given up on each other long time ago.

It only came out there a couple of days ago! Still, it is only #48 on iTunes. Even Alll The Lovers only peaked at #12 there though, it's true that she isn't particularly a force there anymore.

sadly Australia has become upset with Kylie due to her settling in the UK etc... Peaked at around 32-33 on iTunes I think... then again she will probably do better when she is on live shows there etc and does more promo....

problem is..... she hasn't actually released the song as a single anywhere...... it is just released to sell the album pre-orders at the moment..... radio play should increase in each country in next few weeks, remixes etc etc.. She should have withheld the release like she has in the UK and built up sales in each country.. still she is probably not bothered as singles markets are not worth bothering about really, except in UK!!

Her success has dwindled in Australia with her last few releases, i was very surprised All the lovers missed the top 10 there so i didnt really expect into the blue to do any way better at all there.

Looking sexy in the video!!

I'd be happy if her album goes double platinum in Australia and UK but it would be a big ask...

She's only performed on Australian tv once since 2000 if memory serves. I think she's kind of a laughing stock there now.
Beautifully shot and she looks great, but it's not exactly exciting.

Yeah, I agree. It's a bit like they're being a bit safe in case the song isn't a hit perhaps?

And despite our 'inside report', Kylie doesn't actually "play a lesbian". :P

Ah you beat me to it.

Nice video, wish there's more dance move. Have to say that the French action is kinda hot. ^_^

From Kylie's Facebook:

Hi everyone! I'm so excited to finally share the 'Into The Blue' video with you all. It is directed by Dawn Shadforth who also did 'Spinning Around', 'In Your Eyes', 'Chocolate', 'Can't Get You Out Of My Head' and '2 Hearts'! So, we go back a long way and this time we were able to do something different again.

Both Dawn and I were thrilled to have the wonderful French actor, Clement Sibony join us. Check out one of his many films or his next releases coming later this year, 'Les Nuits d'Été' from Mario Fanfani and "The Hundred Foot Journey" by Lasse Hallström. Clement is writing his first film, hoping to direct it at the beginning of 2015.

So, enjoy the video ‪#‎Lovers‬!!

Bit of a shame that this video isn't iconic like Dawn's previous videos of 'Spinning Around', 'Can't Get You Out of My Head' and 'In Your Eyes'. Still a lovely video though.

Clement is beautiful, omg, I am in LUST.
The video is actually REALLY good, but I can't say the same about the song which is completely average unfortunately.
