That was a really mature response from you, but don't worry I didn't expect anything else!

She hasn't signed to roc nation. Parlophone are still her label. Roc nation is just a management deal

So she's signed a deal with Roc Nation... So she's signed to Roc Nation.

'Signed to' refers to your label. Roc Nation are not her label.

And from nowhere there came a stray Umi.

Everyone makes mistakes sometimes Calum, there's no need to attack others for pointing them out ^_^
Im hoping an pop stormer rather than r & b. I have this feeling that this album could be down the body language route which i hope doesnt happen.

And I have a terrible gut feeling that it will be worse than Body Language.

Body Language >>> Fever

BL is amazing.

I still don't know why people call Body Language R&B, it's mostly electro pop.

It does kind of sound like an album of B-sides but I do adore it.

I've not listened to Fever in ages, but ignoring the singles, it's not that much of an impressive album like the sales would suggest. Light Years is exactly that ahead of Fever for me.

There's definitely some R&B elements to it - see 'Red Blooded Woman' especially - so I suppose many just presume its all R&B, especially if they rarely listen to the album. Plus it's not the typical dance-pop that Kylie is associated with and its much more slower which may be a reason why...I don't know, there's just something which makes me and others automatically think R&B when Body Language is mentioned. Perhaps it's mainly down to the way the singles sound.

Oh I'd agree that 'Light Years' (album) is above and beyond anything on 'Fever', such a good pop album!

You're pretty sad then...

I've liked all her Parlo albums with the exception of X. There are some really good tracks on X but its not consistent!

X is her biggest lost opportunity - so many fantastic B-sides and unreleased tracks were recorded at the time yet the likes of 'Nu-di-ty' and 'Heart Beat Rock' were included. :(

Nu-Di-Ty is LIFE. My song of choice whenever I plan a striptease.

I couldn't agree more. Although X has a couple of gems like "the one" and "like a drug", there are several unreleased tracks which are a lot better than the songs on the album.
