November 14, 201311 yr Why did I not notice that Christmas Robot video until now? #1 PLEASE. I am slain.
November 14, 201311 yr Oh yeah. That transcended 'novelty bid for Xmas #1' and became a legitimate minor hit (didn't even peak until a few weeks after Christmas) so I don't really associate it with Xmas any more. I'm looking forward to seeing what other random #1 campaigns crop up this year. There ended up being like 10 of them last year, most of which spectacularly failed of course.
November 14, 201311 yr Yes. Who remembers the Eddie Stobart Truckers, Minecraft Christmas, Alex Day's "Stoopid" song etc. I was going to add Stacey Solomon's version of "Driving Home For Christmas" but that was 2011.
November 14, 201311 yr Also The Gypsy Queens/Made In Chelsea, BlacknWhite's 'Sweaty Goals' and The Games Maker Choir/Alistair Griffin, all making the top 75 in addition to those you mentioned. With £1 Fish Man and The Justice Collective added onto those that's eight different anti-X Factor Xmas #1 campaigns and that's not even including the ones that missed the top 100. (I know The Justice Collective is in a slightly different category to the rest but it was still obviously aiming for Xmas #1).
November 14, 201311 yr Yes. Who remembers the Eddie Stobart Truckers, Minecraft Christmas, Alex Day's "Stoopid" song etc. Remember him coming on here and behaving like a spoilt brat complaining that not enough people were buying his song?
November 14, 201311 yr No, I thought he came on here and conducted himself pretty well actually. He answered most of the questions put to him in a pretty straight forward manner
November 14, 201311 yr No, I thought he came on here and conducted himself pretty well actually. He answered most of the questions put to him in a pretty straight forward manner He did when his singles were doing well and he seemed like a decent, regular guy. Then he showed another side to his character when 'Stupid Stupid' didn't do as well as he thought it should. Edited November 14, 201311 yr by Col1967
November 14, 201311 yr AC/DC are only on itunes, so only people with itunes account will be able to buy it, not people like myself who use amazon over itunes , not sure if that will affect their chances or not
November 27, 201311 yr I wish this song would be Xmas No.1 Slade - Everyday It’s been re-released as a single to coincide with its use in Google’s Nexus 7 ad. Edited November 27, 201311 yr by Andrey71

November 27, 201311 yr I wish this song would be Xmas No.1 Slade - Everyday It’s been re-released as a single to coincide with its use in Google’s Nexus 7 ad. Great song from 1974 when they surprised many of us with a balled.
November 28, 201311 yr I think the X-factor winner's song is going to be a charity record too. So looks like it'll definitely get to #1.
November 28, 201311 yr I think the X-factor winner's song is going to be a charity record too. So looks like it'll definitely get to #1. If some ubiquitous 2013 artists come together for a Philippines charity record, they could be a contender... maybe.
