November 10, 201311 yr OMGAGA! And 'Move' is still growing on me too. The other tracks i've heard from the album are SPECIAL though so i'm excited to give it all a listen next week. The Bastille track is poopoo though :( And super late reply from last week~ HI 07 I haven't actually listened to the album yet. :ph34r: I was going to wait until next week so Celine Dion would have a chance of being my Album of the Week. :P 'Do What U Want' is my favourite out of the three singles (not heard 'Dope' yet). 18 SHE'S PERFORMING IN F*CKING SPACE!!!11!!11! :w00t: 20 I love the chorus to this! :wub: Whether or not it remains at #1 this weekend, it seems like it will increase its sales by at least ~20k! :cheer: I probably won't listen to the album in full but let me know of any highlights and I'll be sure to check them out! The album is like a marathon :drama: Over 20 tracks most of which are over 5 mins! A lot of highlights (my personal fave is 'Love Game' but mainly because i'm a huge Kendrick Lamar fan too <3). 'Headlights' with Nate Ruess is very good too :o

November 14, 201311 yr Author What kind of CHER SLAYAGE?! :heart: amaze. Who'd have thought she'd get more than 1 week top 40 with a single in 2013? :lol: and a top 5 album. Celine to rise I hope <3 Sharja slaying too :wub: can't wait for new music from WT, Hydra will slay. Slaying the word slay. As impressed as I am by Cher's official chart performance, THIS is the type of run she should be having. 3 weeks Top 10 for a great album, shame about the massive collapse this week. :( I hear 'Take It Like a Man' will be the next single - a good song but another down-tempo track would be better to keep the album afloat over Christmas and for Radio 2 to playlist it. Maybe, probably not a massive resurge. I liked her X Factor performance, vocals were on point even though she can go much bigger with the right song (as great as 'Loved Me Back to Life' is, there's not much room for big notes). I think I'll give their album a listen. Are their previous ones of a similar sound or is it a harder/harsher sound? The word 'slay' is appropriate when taking about goddesses of music. :smoke: OMGAGA! And 'Move' is still growing on me too. The other tracks i've heard from the album are SPECIAL though so i'm excited to give it all a listen next week. The Bastille track is poopoo though :( And super late reply from last week~ WOT. Listen soon! You can skip 'Dope' and just get on 'G.U.Y.' 'Sexxx Dreams' and 'Gypsy' *.* :w00t: indeed! The lengths she'd go to to make 'Venus' a hit ! The album is like a marathon :drama: Over 20 tracks most of which are over 5 mins! A lot of highlights (my personal fave is 'Love Game' but mainly because i'm a huge Kendrick Lamar fan too <3). 'Headlights' with Nate Ruess is very good too :o The chorus isn't particularly big, certainly not at the beginning which is a little anti-climatic, which means it takes a little while to get used to it, but once it clicks, boy is it good! :wub: A great little R&B number. I haven't listened to anything else from the album but I hope it's of a similar sound to 'Move'. It is a grower, let it do so! 'Things We Lost in the Fire' will forever remain my favourite from this era though. :wub: I gave a listen to those tracks - 'G.U.Y' > 'Gypsy' > 'Sexxx Dreams'. 'G.U.Y' is quite good but I'm not fussed on the other two at the moment. I have a feeling ARTPOP isn't going to be as instant as her previous 3 albums were. :( She SO needs to perform 'Venus'! :lol: Blimey! :lol: Over one hour and half Wikipedia tells me! Certainly won't be listening to it all then. :P 'Love Game' is rather good! I quite like Kendrick too actually; I always expect his music to sound 'harsher', like Jay-Z and Kanye, but it's much easier to listen to. 'Headlights' is good as well. Just a shame The Saturdays don't seem to be doing well anymore (excluding 'What About Us') since Little Mix would be the perfect competitors; kind of Girls Aloud vs. Sugababes style. 14 The sample is the best part of the song! :wub: It sounds better in 'Skip to the Good Bit' just because of the quality of sound is sharper. I've got bored of the song quite quickly though. :( 37 I agree that his other singles are better but I think this or the Bastille track have the best chance of being post-album hits. November 15, 201311 yr 07 Yes, great sales for 'Move'! Hopefully it will have some good longevity along with the rest of the era. Haven't listened to Salute but it would be nice if there was some 'Move' style tracks on there. I downloaded the album and I completely shocked myself by liking it so much that I went and ordered the CD :o 19 Yeah, I think 'What Doesn't Kill You' is much better, although I'll probably be charting 'Slumville Sunrise' this week anyway. Have you seen the video to it? It's obviously a piss take but it's still awful! :lol: OK I just watched the video and it's absolutely awful! That scene in the living room in the last couple of minutes actually made me cringe! The funny thing is, he plays the part of a chav so well :lol:
