JLS at #31. :o Bloody hell. To think that they had a string of #1 singles and a million selling album a few years ago!! Now it looks like they'll spend one week top 40 with their last ever single.

Hardly surprising with so little airplay. The radio stations decide who have successful singles.

Great to see these all on the move. Hoping Jessie J can really deliver with this track, "It's My Party" really put a dampning on the campaign.

Could jls actually miss the top 40?

Although it's not their strongest song, it's miles better than the likes of the club is alive and love you more

Gary to get number one this week, although Lily would be nice too. I also quite like Bastille :P
Ugh. Wizzard back below Pogues. Ew. (I know they were never ahead when Pogues were combined anyway, but still!) I wish sometimes it was more than just the usual Mariah & Pogues takeover! I want one year where Wizzard reign supreme. :(

They are all pretty slow this year we might only see the usual 2 top 40!

No, even if they plummet out of the Top 40 now, they'll have done enough to be Top 40 officially.

Gary Barlow holding up strong at this stage is good, it shows its appealing outside the x factor demographic.

Indeed their preorders would only have had to be 7-8k to get there!

36. Katy Perry - Unconditionally

The amazing video pushed it quite high... :cheer:

46. Jason Derulo - Trumpets

Jason Derulo knows what it's called catchy..

162. Bambi & PBN - Zaalma

I always find entertaining these random Indian songs..I also like some mainstream songs that they sound like Indians..My favourite of them is "Truth Hurts - Addictive"..It was massive in some European countries some years ago.

Doesn't 1973 count, then? :)

50. Katy Perry - Unconditionally

The video is stunning...

First time I've heard the song, and it is quite different (in a good way) from her usual material. :)

 #36 - JLS - Billion Lights

Shit man. Is this their worst performing single EVER? Aside from the one they released after 'Hottest Girl', which I wouldn't even count as a single.

Top 3 song of the year, MASTERPIECE!

I don't get the love for the Barlow track and reading his album reviews seems there's not much better on there. Funny how he can come up with the goods as the main songwriter for Take That but fails miserably in my opinion in his solo work. If he wasn't so high profile (x Factor judge, charity co-ordinator) at the moment I doubt he'd be anywhere her the top of the chart.
I believe that Jls are performing on the Saturday on X Factor ? If they perform Billion Lights that should help the track out a lot .

I can't imagine they will. They'll probably do a medley of their biggest songs to boost the GH sales

78. Rihanna - What Now

146. Rihanna - What Now

If this could only get a discount and an X factor performance the same week..... LOL

Well they could still fuse the New Single in there if they are doing a Medley .
