November 24, 201311 yr Everyone defending Tamera comparing her to Kelly C or Pink or whoever else here forgets she's not a well-established artist (no one would give a damn if they forgot some words, and that's understandable) and she's not singing 10-15 songs in a row. She has one song per week. I don't think I saw Pink or Kelly Clarkson forgetting words while performing on some big awards shows too, if we're talking LIVE and in front of MILLIONS... If Kelly C did forget words a few times during her AI days then I'll shut up tho x I'm not hating. I like Tamera. She has a great voice and she's SO good-looking (can't hurt to SMILE MORE THO). The second half of that performance was good but things like going off key and forgetting lines put me off a bit and it's hard to think of her as a potentially big recording artist if she can't handle the nerves. If you think this competition is nerve-wracking and tough, wait until you get into the real world, TamTam! (I guess it's also a bit hard for me to think how it's possible to forget the words on stage as well. I did sing (EN FRANÇAIS bye) a few times in a front of a crowd when I was a bit younger than 16 and the words just FLOW, like you're on autopilot. Weird feeling)

Weird feeling) She did :D But Kelly wouldn't make it so obvious and would just ad-lib over the top of where she'd forgot! And off the top of my head, I remember her doing 'Breakaway' on SNL and singing "All I wanted was horses..." I do understand what you're saying but, like a few of us have said, I don't think it was her forgetting the words this week. The arrangement completely screwed her over. I mean, I'm sure she will have rehearsed it like that but when you're in the moment, your mind would revert to the original. I'm not making excuses for her, but fancy giving someone that has a hard time remembering things a new arrangement  Edited November 24, 201311 yr by Scherz
November 24, 201311 yr Oh, the finalists are performing with JLS tonight. Thank god there'll be no 'Billion Lights' performance then! (unless that's what they're singing :drama:)
November 24, 201311 yr Lets be honest, if it was Rough Copy or Luke Friend making this mistake, it wouldn't be an issue because they are men. Girls have it far harder on these kind of shows - for example Misha B being called a bully yet James Arthur gets away with far far worse and is seen as confident. It always bugs the shit out of me, but it is never going to change either.

I agree that girls get a harder time with the press attention etc. but if any act kept on f***ing up with the lyrics or timings in many of their performances I think people would react the same.
November 24, 201311 yr I really just having a feeling Tamera will survive again ( maybe it's me hoping) I reckon it will be a Hannah vs Rough Copy Bottom 2.
November 24, 201311 yr I don't think even think Tamera's vocals AFTER the mishap were that good - she lacked any control whatsoever because she was trying to compensate for her mistakes by really shouting the words. I'm still pretty sure she DID forget the words though? There was definitely the situation you were talking about where she had to stop to let the arrangement but I'm sure she forgot the words a few lines before that too. I understand that everyone forgets the lyrics but I actually entirely disagree with Jack here and think if it was Sam Callahan/Nicholas/Rough Copy who'd have f***ed up, they wouldn't have been defended this way on this forum. In my eyes, you can't compare, as Pavel said, to Kelly/Pink forgetting the lyrics, to Tamera getting it wrong two weeks in a row in a show where the other contestants HAVEN'T got them wrong and have thus put in a more competent performance.
November 24, 201311 yr I really just having a feeling Tamera will survive again ( maybe it's me hoping) I reckon it will be a Hannah vs Rough Copy Bottom 2. I agree with this, I could be wrong, but I think she may get sympathy votes again. I'd rather it be Tamera vs Rough Copy but I think you'll be right.
November 24, 201311 yr I find this whole Tamera has star quality image to be completely fabricated. She has the looks, and possible potential in her voice. BUT I just don't see it. She's not likeable enough as a person, and I can't see her capturing the hearts and minds of the world like other contestants have done. Just don't see it.
November 24, 201311 yr I think Rough Copy and Tamera, though who would go there I'm not sure. I would fathom it would go to deadlock with possibly Tamera going.
November 24, 201311 yr Aston  Should probably swap JLS with the finalists in terms of who's doing what though.
November 24, 201311 yr I'm surprised plenty of you see Hannah as being safe, I'd say she's a near certainty for bottom 2.
November 24, 201311 yr lol at Marvin saying he likes Rough Copy. They're the type of act he'd persist on playing regularly on Capital despite how floppy they become after leaving the show.
November 24, 201311 yr I'm surprised plenty of you see Hannah as being safe, I'd say she's a near certainty for bottom 2. I think she could easily be there, but just as easily end up 3rd from bottom, I would imagine the bottom 3 this week will be VERY close.
