Posted November 21, 201311 yr So they have just officially announced 'Little Me' as the next single! C0V2eu0Ba9o EsSd1WCjAgM Happy? Good choice? What would you have preferred?
November 21, 201311 yr Author It is a very good choice, if a little more safe and predictable than other songs from the album. Radio should stay on board for this one I think. It's a great song, I just would have preferred other songs. But yay, should be another top 10 for them anyway.
November 21, 201311 yr I'd have preferred These Four Walls or Salute but I think this is a safe, solid choice. Hopefully a top 10 which would be good for a post album single - do we have a 'release' date yet? I wonder what the video will be like? Involving mini me's of the girls? They could make a really good video for this! :D Edited November 21, 201311 yr by Encore
November 21, 201311 yr I suspected as much, it's a strong, safe choice. As far as the album goes, it's one of the best on there regardless of the fact it's a strong single choice too. The title will probably help matters as well. I'm very pleased.
November 21, 201311 yr I'd have preferred "Good Enough" or "These Four Walls" on the ballad front, but it's still nice enough.
November 21, 201311 yr YAY Best choice, best song on the album. Shouild definitely help give it some legs over the Christmas season.
November 21, 201311 yr Awful choice, such a boring song. These Four Walls would've sold more albums over xmas. Still I suppose they have a tradition of appalling single choices to uphold.
November 21, 201311 yr The only ''awful'' single choice up to this point is How Ya Doin? which should have been Red Planet, everything else has been good.
November 21, 201311 yr Yey, not my favourite on the album, but it's a great track. I hope it does really well as it's sort of a much better Change Your Life and the sooner they drop CYL the better as far as I'm concerned. Hopefully they have at least 4 singles from this album again as there's a lot of very cool tracks the could be really good. I have to say the acoustic version of this is just flawless too. It's just a shame that it's the most teeny lyrically of all the tracks, I can't imagine them even singing it in five years time, along with Wings. But for now, it's pretty awesome!
November 21, 201311 yr The only ''awful'' single choice up to this point is How Ya Doin? which should have been Red Planet, everything else has been good. Totally. Still don't get the major fuss with 'How Ya Doin'?' at all, and it remains my least favourite from the album. Can't even REMEMBER this song though, so will give it another listen.
November 21, 201311 yr The only one I disliked so far was 'Change Your Life', a really poor ballad. I agree 'Red Planet' deserved a release though, it was stunning.
November 21, 201311 yr I do like this song a lot, but I think it's probably more to do with the sample. It just makes me think of Natural by S Club 7 every time I listen to it.
November 22, 201311 yr Its a great song but I think the reason 'Move' is doing so well is because the new R&B influenced sound is appealing to the public more than their safer pop stuff. Although this is great, it is safe pop. I think it is more than good enough to be a single but would have had at least one more single showing off their newer sound. If I was in charge of the singles they would go: 1. Move 2. Salute 3. Little Me 4. About The Boy
November 23, 201311 yr It might not be my choice for the second single, but the song just screams that it should be. I do hope it becomes big for them because releasing a midtempo ballad at this time of the year seems to me is a good idea. They can show off their harmonies in the promos.
November 24, 201311 yr If I was in charge of the singles they would go: 1. Move 2. Salute 3. Little Me 4. About The Boy YES, YES AND YEEES. :cheer: Change Your Life was beyond shit, so Little Me should do better than it.
November 25, 201311 yr I'm looking forward to what the video concept would be. I would like some pictures of the girls when they were still little, but that would be too predictable wouldn't it? The music video concept for DNA was promising with its Sin City concept, but poorly executed. It ended up looking 'cheap' and 'budget' for me when it could have been phenomenal.
