Hello and welcome to The Best Of The Buzzjack Song Contest LI-LX! The first stage of TBO, the nominations, will be hosted here in Espen! Over the course of the next week, you'll be able to vote for your top 5 songs from each of the past 10 contests.

The nominations process will follow the same format as it did last year. You simply have to pick a top 5 for EACH contest and award your chosen five with the following points: 7pts (favourite), 5pts (Second favourite), 3pts, 2pts and 1pt (Fifth favourite). Any other format will result in a firm slap across the chops.

You don't have to participate, but in the interest of fairness, your entries will receive a 7 point deduction if you don't vote. You may vote for only the finals in which your entries appeared if you wish, however you are very welcome and are encouraged to vote in all 10 contests (You have the potential to cause chaos here - dooooooo iittt).

You cannot nominate the winning song from each contest as they have already auto-qualified to the final and you cannot vote for your own entries. I can't stress that point enough and if any of you vote for your own song then I'll be vvvv angry. Rawr.

To vote in TBO, you must have entered at least one song at some point during the course of the last 10 contests.

After everyone's votes have been added together, the top 5 songs from each contest will go into two semi finals along with six wildcard tracks which received the highest percentage of points available out of all the non-qualifiers, thus making two semi finals of 28 tracks.

You have until 8pm on Saturday 30th November to submit your votes via PM to myself (Cal). Execution awaits those who send their votes to somebody other than me. Don't be that guy. The results will be announced the following evening (Sunday 1st December) at 9pm. A bit of a wait but I gotta work bitch.

Songs that failed to qualify to a final during the last 10 contests are currently competing in The Rejects competition and will run alongside TBO.

So, here are all the songs you can vote for with recap clips featuring all the tracks. Big thanks to Eyes for making the clips! <3 Remember, you are voting for your top 5 songs for each of the 10 contests!

If any of the links provided are wrong or inactive, please let me or anybody with superduper editing powers (Silas, Jahq, Yu, Dandy, John, Eyes) know so that they can be changed to a correct or active link. I'll go through them over the next day to make sure errthing is a-ok. ALSO, for those of you AWKWARD few who changed their country names throughout the year, you'll have your current name for the semifinals so FEAR NOT bbbbz.

Obviously he's my hope to win the whole she-bang, but maybe ASTR can get through a round too? Or Goldroom if 'Embrace' awoke you all to his glory.

Amaranthine NEEDS to go through. I will be lost if it doesn't. Exhale might if I'm very lucky but that's about it for me I'd guess. So much good here though, it's going to be one hell of a competition.

Jaymes should sail through here and I'm hoping Truls and Roses can challenge for a place too (Truls theoretically should be easily through as well given he's seeded 2nd but it got no 12s which isn't an overly good omen, I think it might be a little bit forgotten these days as well). The other 3 definitely have no chance at all ofc.

LVI was by far the best contest this year. There were SO many highlights. :wub:

Wasting My Young Years and Rock U Tonite are probably the only two of my entries that stand a chance of getting through, will be interesting to see which comes out on top seeing as there's a nine place gap between where they finished.
i assume that my best chance lies within my top 10's so PLEASE vote aphex twin / chordashian / jon hopkins / slava / man without country. and if you want to vote for massive attack / data romance / telephoned i'd obvs love that too but i doubt it.

People are stupid if they don't vote for Data Romance. :wub:
