Posted November 29, 201311 yr It was a little bit unfair the fact that Avicii didn't credit Aloe Blacc to his song 'Wake Me Up". Aloe has very strong vocals and i think that he played an important role for the huge success of this song. That's why Aloe Blacc released an Ep with the title "Wake Me Up". It contains his acoustic version of "Wake Me Up" and "The Man". The latter seems to be popular in Us i-tunes.. n_58FqEiG3I
December 6, 201311 yr This is good! Hopefully he can get a few hits singles off the back of Wake Me Up
December 7, 201311 yr I don't think it's that unfair that he wasn't credited on Wake Me Up. He's still probably made millions from the song, plus it seems like most people know he does the vocals for it anyway.
January 14, 201411 yr Author I just checked Us Top 100 Song Downloads and it's No.2!!!! Surely, it will be a big hit for him. When i posted that video, i thought that it would be at least a Top 40 hit..But it seems that it will be much bigger than i thought..He's the man..
January 16, 201411 yr I disliked "I Need a Dollar" with a passion. Addicted to this for now though, really love the interpolation of "Your Song".
January 22, 201411 yr Aloe released a The Man remix with Kid Ink projected to be an extra on his upcoming album, its not awful like most remixes but I prefer the original ozQ4olKl3NY

March 29, 201411 yr Shaping up to be not just one of my favourites of the year, but of the decade thus far. Edited March 29, 201411 yr by G R I F F
March 29, 201411 yr I am sorry, I can't say I am understanding the mass love for this at all. It is just completely bland to me and I am surprised it is even shaping up to be one of the year's big hits.
March 30, 201411 yr Author I think that "The Man" will be a good no.1 especially after so many dance songs (Rather Be, Tsunami, My Love, I Got U). It seems that 2014 will have a big variety of No1.s and this is so cool. "The Man" and "She Looks So Perfect" don't sound like the rest. I hope we will see a rock/alternative song and a pop ballad as No.1 too.
March 30, 201411 yr Definitely preferring this over INAD. It's one of those tracks like Happy that will inevitably hang around for months. Edited March 30, 201411 yr by Robert.
April 2, 201411 yr Totally agree with most people I hated I Need a Dollar but love this track. Definitely gonna be a big hit.

I hope it continues for a long time, but no doubt after 5 years or so pop music will start dominating again...
April 3, 201411 yr I'm loving the variety in the charts this year as well. 2013 had lots of variety as well. I hope it continues for a long time, but no doubt after 5 years or so pop music will start dominating again... Fingers crossed. So so glad this song is looking to be #1 here this week, so catchy and a great use of the sample IMO.
