June 29, 201410 yr Too much tension but so pleased that the incredible story of Costa Rica can continue. Perhaps they can cause Netherlands a few problems before it's finally brought to an end.
June 29, 201410 yr To be honest it was a poor match, Costa Rica should have nailed it earlier in 90 mins, but they just ran out of steam. Anyhow I'm glad Costa Rica are through, should be a great quarter final match with Holland.
June 29, 201410 yr The match was awful until Costa Rica scored. After that it improved considerably. Costa Rica have been good but the Dutch should beat them without too much difficulty.
June 29, 201410 yr I'm really sad about the result. The game was quite bad but we should have taken the opportunity to score. Costa Rica had only 10 players in the regular game. However, I'm very proud of my team and we fought that game when others couldn't score against them. Costa Rica has no chance to beat Netherlands.

June 30, 201410 yr That was way more of a match than I thought it would be! Was really hoping for Algeria to upset there, not that they'd have beat them on penalties, but they played admirably. Similar thing for Nigeria earlier, still France/Germany should be suitably epic.

July 1, 201410 yr USA really did put up a big fight in those last 10 minutes of extra time. Silly me for thinking Belgium were safe after they went 2-0 up. First quarterfinal for Belgium since '86 though. :D
