Missed loads! Loving the #1 album, really came out of nowhere for me.

Ke$ha! Nice to see the BEAST 'C'mon' and 'Crazy Kids' which is far too low. Need the new album now.

Drake and Katy too  Both with their best tracks in ages.

I have to admit that I quite love that Lana Del Rey track. The only one I love from her

20 // Diana Vickers - Music To Make Boys Cry

I've always liked my romance bittersweet, it's what I need

19 // Jessie J (ft. Big Sean & Dizzee Rascal) - Wild

If this is a dream I wont my open my eyes, am I asleep, no I'm alive

18 // Lily Allen - Hard Out Here

An equality promises that its here to stay, always trust the injustice cause its not going away

17 // Rihanna - Pour It Up

All I see is signs, all I see is dollar signs

16 // Miley Cyrus - Wrecking Ball

Don't you ever say I just walked away, I will always want you

Kicking off the Top 20 is something a little unexpected from Diana Vickers. Absolutely detested her on her time on The X Factor, but she knows how to make one hell of a pop song and seems like a lovely girl since ... shows how manipulating The X Factor can really be I guess. Music To Make Boys Cry is a lovely uplifting pop song, which wouldnt sound too dissimilar from something by Annie or Robyn, in fact its like a better version of I Know Ur Boyfriend Hates Me. At #19 we have one of the most annoying women in pop, Jessie J with her comeback single, Wild, which really was brilliant and sounded fresh for her ... I even really like Big Seans verse and think the solo version sounds a bit empty! It is such a shame she had to follow it up with one of the worst singles of the year. At #18 we have another comeback single, this time from Lily Allen and with what is , in my opinion, her best single to date. It is such a shame that her okay-ish but ultimately lame cover version completely overshadowed it, it is clever and quirky with one of the best videos of 2013 (the racist thing is just laughable), I hope she continues with this kind of music next year, if she does I will be very excited to see what she comes up with next! At #17 it is Rihanna with her twerktastic Pour It Up, which for me, went from being album filler to being one of her best singles this era ... so effortlessly cool and should have been a huge dancefloor anthem, I am still yet to hear it on a night out! Finally at #16 we have queen of controversy this year Miley Cyrus with Wrecking Ball which people seem to forget is a completely gorgeous and vulnerable song from Miley because of that video, which I think is a very clever video in all honesty.

Wrecking Ball is an excellent video! It's just because she was Hannah Montana and people can't take the transition I think, if it was by someone who was already sexual like Rihanna for example it would be lauded by pretty much everyone.

15 // Ciara (ft. Nicki Minaj) - I'm Out

Celebrating breaking up, bartender go ahead and pour me a little more

14 // Rihanna (ft. Mikky Ekko) - Stay

Something in the way you move makes me feel like I can't live without you ...

13 // Britney Spears - Work Bitch

Go call the police, go call the governor ...

12 // Mariah Carey (ft. Miguel) - #Beautiful

You're beautiful and I can't pretend that doesn't mean a thing to me

11 // Iggy Azalea - Bounce

I don't wanna hurt ya, but i'm bout to work ya, watch your mouth drop real low

At #15 we have the third and final entry from Ciara with her Nicki Minaj dancefloor anthem I'm Out, which also gave her one of her best videos to date in my opinion, such a great song and had all the ingredients to become a huge hit ... but it just didn't happen. Maybe next time CiCi, that is the thing I adore about her, she will never quit. At #14 we have Rihanna with one of her most beautiful ballads to date in Stay, it got overplayed very quickly and I have only really just been able to listen to it again, but it is such a stunning song, her live performances of it have almost been flawless too. Her and Mikky Ekko go really well together and you can really sense genuine heartache in the song too which is what makes it so special I think. At #13 we have the big comeback from queen Britney Spears, it isn't her strongest lead single but it did sound like the one most likely to be a huge hit so of course it ends up being her worst performing lead single to date! Nothing groundbreaking about it, but it is just a whole lot of fun and gets you dancing immediately, her video is one of her best in absolutely AGES, she finally looks like well ... Britney again! At #12 we have one of the best duets of the year, Mariah and Miguel sound so so perfect together and the song is like an eargasm ... it makes you want to fall in love in all honesty, it sounded so good when it was hot earlier on in the year too, this is definetly the MiMi I love and I hope we get more similar songs to it on her upcoming album. Finallt at #11, just missing out on having three songs in my EOY Top 10 is my favourite new talent of 2013, Iggy Azalea with the dancefloor anthem Bounce .... it is the weakest of her three singles but only because all three have been of SUCH high quality in my opinion.

10 // Justin Timberlake - Mirrors

Yesterday is history, tomorrows a mystery...

09 // Lady GaGa (ft. R Kelly) - Do What U Want

Write what you want, say what you want bout me, just know that I'm not sorry

Kicking off the Top 10 is king of comebacks Justin Timberlake with one of his most successful solo singles to date, if not the most successful? I'm not sure. It was a perfect balance of throwback to mid noughties Timbaland production whilst still managing to sound fresh and current, his voice is probably at its best and it just made for a huge R&B mid-tempo anthem that we needed back in the charts! At #09 we have Lady GaGa with one of her best offerings to date, it was refreshing to see her just go back to fun, catchy pop after the good but fairly pretentious Applause and I think had it been the lead single, she could have kicked it off with a huge single ... I think in the longrun this will be more well remembered anyway. When I first heard that she was releasing with R Kelly I thought it would be a hot ass mess, but it works so surprisingly well ... and even though she could have gone with someone more obvious or with a higher profile, she took a risk and I really think it paid off well. Just give us the video now please.

08 // Little Mix - Move

Feeling like i'ts my birthday, like christmas day came early

07 // Iggy Azalea (ft. T.I.) - Change Your Life

Used to dealing with basic bitches, basic shit, all the time

At #08 is one of my favourite girlgroups of the moment, Little Mix with what is, in my opinion, their best single to date. Move is a forward thinking and cleverly structured pop song, it was a bit risky for them but it paid off hugely... there are so many layers to the song without it sounding messy and it is the first song where they really show some personality too I think. It kind of feels criminal to have them this low but that is only because the standard in the Top 10 is too high. I am really excited to see what they come up with next and even more excited to see them on tour next year! At #07 we have Iggy Azalea with her 2nd entry on my chart, the highly infectious Change Your Life ... usually when a chorus is as repetitive at that I cannot be bothered with it, but this makes it sound so different somehow ... her flow on the verses is insane too and it is just so feel good, really pleased it was her first Top 10 hit (even if it is forgotten about already). Beyond excited for her album now.

Do not get the fuss with this Iggy Azaelea bird at all. She's awful.

Go on Little Mix, fricking love that song. And Mirrors is superb. I predict Clarity will be your #1.

06 // The Saturdays - What About Us

Why are we waiting so long, I'm suffocating

05 // Avicii vs. Nicky Romero - I Could Be The One

I could be the one to make you feel that way, I could be the one to set you free

At #06 is currently the longest running girlgroup in the UK, The Saturdays! It only took them five years but they finally managed to get a #01 with this infectious gem of a song, it is their biggest hit to date now too and rightfully so, the chorus is amazing and is pop at its best despite what PopJustice may say (they like Gentleman ffs). At #05 we have one of the best dance songs of the year - the amazing euphoric I Could Be The One from Avicii and Nicky Romero - it is amazingly feel good and euphoric and coupled with what is one of the best videos of the year, it just instantly puts a smile on your face which is exactly what was needed when it was released in January. The breakdown is probably my favourite dance breakdown of the year too. I love the way it builds up to one amazing finish.

So good so far Jack, brilliant to see I Could Be The One so high :D Great to see Gaga/Mariah/The Sats all doing so well too! Looking forward to the top four!

04 // Zedd (ft. Foxes) - Clarity

You are the piece of me I wish I didn't need ...

03 // Miley Cyrus - We Can't Stop

Its my mouth I can say what I want to

At #04 we have one of the most undeserving flops of 2013, the beautiful and euphoric Clarity by Zedd. It took me a while to get into initially but once it did, it became one of my favourite songs of the year - touching lyrics, amazing production and a sense of euphoria make for an amazing dance song, was surprised to see it not catch on like it did in the US ... probably one of the biggest chart shocks of the year on reflection. At #03 it is the highest entry from the twerktastic Miley Cyrus ... I remember listening to it and initially being SO disappointed but it is the grower of the year, the subtlety of a mainstream pop song made it grow with each listen and even now I am not finding myself bored of listening to it either. It has a sense of nostalgia about it too which I always love in a song, the fact that everyone loves to hate her makes me love her even more ... I though the video was hilarious personally!

Move, What About Us and We Can't Stop  TUNES. Flawless top 10 so far, I'm fairly sure I know what #1 might be but idk what the other song is!

'Do What U Want' Video soon PLEASE and the rumoured xtina collab too?

Love 'What About Us' too and Iggy of course. Not long until the album!!1

Foxes' vocal performance on Clarity is BRILLIANT <3 really lifts it up from what would otherwise be a standard-yet-decent EDM track

(oh and in terms of girl group songs- Move >>> What About Us x)

Not heard Nicky Romero or Zedd but the rest of this top 10 is superb! Even the Saturdays managed to get it almost-right with What About Us :o

02 // Demi Lovato - Heart Attack

When it comes to you I'm never good enough...

01 // Iggy Azalea - Work

Valley girls giving blowjobs for louboutins, whatcha call that? Head over heels ...

Narrowly missing out on being my song of the year is the wonderful Demi Lovato with her comeback single Heart Attack, a great pop song which a lot of people can relate to. Her vocals on it are amazing (even if screechy for some) and it has never got old for me even once. Was so thrilled to see it do as well as it did too and completely blow Selenas generic trash of a song out of the water too  GO DEMI. I really have become a huge fan of hers and I cannot wait to see what she comes up with next!

At #01 is a surprise to approximately ... NO ONE. It is of course Iggy Azalea with the astounding Work ... an amazing uplifting song, quirky lyrics, amazing rhythm and one of the hooks of the year all equals to my song of the year. It began a slow obsession with her and I really think she deserves everything she gets, you can genuinely tell she has worked hard to get where she is now. I hope this song was just the beginning of things and I anticipate her album very very much, if she pulls an Azealia Banks on us I may have to hunt her down and kill her though.

YESSS

She's just getting started. Really hope she doesn't f* it all up though and i'm kinda nervous for her :/ As long as the album delivers like all the singles have though i'll be happy.

Fab countdown :D
