Maybe iTunes has now been changed to an entire week rolling chart  Though obviously if that's the case it'd be with a lot of weighting to recent sales or iTunes would exactly match the official chart at midnight on Saturday.

It definitely has to be weighted quite heavily towards recent sales, or else songs like Justin Bieber's songs wouldn't have been able to fall so soon after release.

Not exactly since there are other download websites, physical CDs and album bundles for singles.

Shocked at how well this has held up through the week and actually pretty sure it's doing better now than it has at any other point during the week (SIX versions in the top 100 :o) Dropped out of the top 5 in the mids but I could see it regaining that for Sunday. Absolutely no doubt about it giving them a first top 10 hit at least.

Assuming they do get a first T10 hit, who will then take over the position of the 'most hits without a T10'?

Hits Top 40 without a Top 10 - Super Furry Animals with 19

Hits Top 75 without a Top 10 - Super Furry Animals & Thunder each with 21

In terms of weeks on chart. Jason Mraz would be the new holder in relation to both Weeks Top 40 & Top 75 with 68/132, of course with only two songs.

For anyone who cares, the act with the most top 40 hits without a top 10 in the decade to date is Marina & The Diamonds with 5. Whitney Houston is in the lead for most top 75/100 hits with 12/13 due to all the re-entries immediately after her death. In terms of new hits only You Me At Six have the most top 75 hits without a top 10 (8) and Ash have the most top 100s without a top 10 (11, from their A-Z release series, but only one of those went top 75).

Imagine Dragons have the most weeks top 40 without a top 10 hit in the decade to date (36), while Mumford & Sons have the most top 75 and most top 100 weeks (73/134 respectively).

Wizzard just performed their Xmas track on Celebrity Pointless :D :cheer:
Never expected Leona to hold up so well, Do you think she could be back to #2 on iTunes before dropping after Christmas? Just seen she is number 4 on radio airplay. Amazing! I hope her label don't mess the lead single of the next album up and kill off radio playing her again. Shows with a catchy song and decent radio play she still can have a decent size hit. :)
In 5 or 6 years will Mariah Carey's all I want for Christmas become the biggest selling single in the UK?(pass out edel-not overall)?she sell like 80000 a year..?

No.

Yes, she's already sold over 3 million copies of it for the last five or six years already so I don't see why not.

I'm not sure I fully understand what this post is supposed to be asking, but I'm almost certain the answer is no.

'Edel' = Adele? So passing (for now) the biggest selling single of the 2010s?

Then no, because the song's from 1994 and it probably won't sell over 1.3 million copies this decade anyway.

Not to mention the fact that The Pogues have outsold her every year apart from this one anyway.
